New Smyrna Beach is the "Old" Florida type town. Laid back. Plenty
of casual dining with great seafood restaurants. Canaveral National
Seashore is 7 minutes down the road where you can put in your boat
for world renown flats fishing-snook, trout, reds in Mosquito
Lagoon. Ocean offers kayaking, surfing, sailing, sunbathing
and any other ocean activity.
Old Flagler Avenue has returned to life with shoppes, ice cream
treats, surf shops and restaurants. You can also take your car to
the North end (1 mile) of the beach and cruise on the driving beach.
The surfing is some of the best on the East Coast of the USA!
Highway A1A south of here is still a 2 lane road which dead ends
into the Canaveral National Seashore.
You can bike on the flat beach or bike in Canaveral National
Seashore as well. There are Indian Mounds there to see. 40 Minutes
to the west is famous Blue Springs where you can swim with the
Manatees or just watch them from the edge of the Spring.
People return to this area year after year because of the location,
affordability, and wonderful family atmosphere.
Plenty of affordable golf nearby. Disney, Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom
are a 1 1/2 hour drive; Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea
World 1 hour 15 minute drive, Daytona Beach 20 minute drive, Kennedy
Space Center 45 min drive.

This is a wonderful condo to visit! This unit is equipped with everything you will need to have a great stay in New Smyrna Beach.
The beach is only steps away and restaurants are within a short drive.

Our stay here was wonderful! The condo was in great condition when we arrived and had everything we needed to make our stay easy and relaxing. The beach is only a short walk away and the pool is about a 30 second walk. I have been coming to New Smyrna Beach for about 14 years and they are the best Florida has to offer. Not only is the condo great, but the delicious food nearby is a huge bonus. Mi Mexico, Jb's fish camp and Spanish River Grill are all great choices for eating. Also, it is less than an hour away from Orlando so a day trip there is easy. The only letdown was that in the description all the recreational items (chairs, body boards, etc.) were supposed to be a $5 deposit, but the receptionist indicated that this unit was not on the list, so it would have been $20 to rent any of that stuff. Not a huge deal, but I would have brought some of these things along if I had known. A beach umbrella would be a nice addition as well. Overall though, amazing experience in a great condo on a wonderful beach. Check out Canaveral National Seashore too!
