Welcome to our private, well-appointed, and serene retreat on the 7th floor of the Golden Arms condominium, one of the best in New Smyrna Beach. Enjoy expansive views of the ocean from the living room, dining room, master bedroom, kitchen, and large balcony.  Watch the pelicans and seagulls sweep by.  Experience the constantly changing colors and moods of the sea.

Located on the side of the building closest to the beach, just one unit from the end, "Condobello" offers an upscale retreat with the comforts and conveniences of home.  It is beautifully decorated in a refined coastal style that emphasizes contemporary casual comfort: th...ere are new furnishings throughout, an updated kitchen, a large flat-screen HDTV, and premium linens. Ideal for one or two couples, a small family, a couple of friends, or solo travelers seeking a beach getaway.

On the large curved balcony, accessible from the living room and master bedroom, seating around a bar-height table provides stunning views of sea, sand, and sky—up the coast to the Ponce Inlet jetty, visible at low tide.  As you enter from the walkway we call the “sunset deck," you’ll enjoy ocean breezes and unobstructed views from the coast to the intra-coastal waterway. In cooler months, the bistro table and chairs outside the front door provide the perfect place to sit outside, relax in the warmth of the sun, and enjoy panoramic views to the south and west.

Inside, rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable.  Beautiful cork flooring in the living/dining areas and bedrooms is soft underfoot.  Cork is warmer than tile, absorbs noise, and offers natural resistance to mold and allergens.

The master bedroom (16x15) has direct ocean views and a king Tempur-Pedic mattress; the smaller guest room (10x12; no view) is furnished with a queen bed.  The master bedroom includes a separate vanity/dressing area, and each bedroom has a large walk-in closet with ample storage and “California closet” systems that make efficient use of the space.  The ensuite master bath has a shower/tub combo, while the guest/hall bath is equipped with a shower.

A beach closet in the entry provides a convenient place to store towels, shoes, and bags as you come in from the beach or pool. The well-equipped kitchen is bright and airy, with white plantation shutters, white cabinets, glasstop stove, side-by-side fridge (with ice/water dispenser in door), Corian countertops with an integrated double sink, and garbage disposal. We also have a filtered drinking water system.

In the living room you'll enjoy a 55” flat-screen internet-connected HDTV, with a DVD player, expanded digital cable, and access to Netflix, Hulu+, Pandora, and more.  Guests are also welcome to use, free of charge, our high-speed (secure) wireless internet connection. Free local and national phone service is provided.

Located in the desirable “North Beach” neighborhood of New Smyrna Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches—and quaint beach towns—in Florida, the Golden Arms is well-managed and the grounds immaculately maintained. Entrances to the building are secure, and there are two elevators, as well as private key-code access to the beach from the pool area.  Guests are welcome to use our designated garage parking space; outside parking is also available.

4-5 short blocks away, Flagler Avenue offers eclectic small shops and restaurants—from funky beach gear to art galleries to fine (yet casual) dining, as well as numerous festivals and celebrations—walk, or call NSBFree and be transported by golf cart!  Across the causeway to the west, visit the Saturday Farmer’s Market as well as the small shops, galleries, and businesses on Canal Street. Everything you might need for a comfortable vacation--supermarkets, drugstores, bakeries, fish markets, and wine shops--is just a short drive away.

Building policies do not allow us to accept reservations for stays less than one week. We also have a 2-week minimum for reservations between January 1 - March 31 (Winter Prime Season), though during those months we will take "last minute" reservations for stays of one week within 30 days of check-in, subject to availability.

A $500 deposit will hold reservations made more than 60 days in advance. 50% payment of total rent, taxes, and fees is due two months (60 days) in advance or at time the reservation is made, whichever is earlier; 100% payment, including security deposit, taxes, and fees, is due a month (30 days) before check-in. Cancellations: 100% for cancellations 60 days prior to check-in date; 50% refund for cancellations 30 days (or less) prior to check-in date.

Additional Location Information

Repeatedly named by residents of Central Florida as “Florida’s Best Beach,” New Smyrna is just 30 minutes from the Daytona Beach International Airport, 45 minutes from the Sanford Airport, and about an hour from the Orlando International Airport.  It is home, as well, to the Canaveral National Seashore, the Atlantic Center for the Arts, and nesting sea-turtles.  It has been named one of the "100 Best Small Art Towns in America." There is, indeed, something for everyone in New Smyrna Beach:  beaches, surfing, bird watching, kayaking, fishing/boating, golf/tennis, biking, river cruises, parks, arts/culture, street fairs/festivals, farmer's markets, and historical sites.  

St. Augustine, as well as other small Florida towns (like DeLand and Mt. Dora) are a short drive away. It is an easy drive from the condo to various points of interest in Orlando, including Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios.

  This unit is great and true to the online pictures, with wonderful oceanfront views from the seventh floor. The unit is beautifully decorated (very clean, bright and welcoming) and the owner has taken care to include all the necessary amenities for guests and more! The complex and grounds are well maintained in this quiet condo building. Short walk to Flagler avenue shops,restaurants, etc. Only down side is 'drive' area of beach, but all in we really liked this place.

  The pictures of this condo do not do it justice. The explanation of the condo does not do it justice. You have to see it in person, and when you do, be prepared to be blown away. The condo is meticulously clean, beautifully styled, and has breath taking views of the ocean. The owners have thought of everything - the condo is well equipped with all the comforts of home and then some. So much detail has been given to ensure that guests have the best vacation. The entire property of Golden arms is well kept. You will appreciate security measures to ensure no strangers wondering around the pool or grounds. The regular tenants are friendly and welcoming. The location couldn't be more perfect, as Flagler ave is just a short walk away. We chose this condo as the location for our destination beach wedding and expected the typical oceanfront condo. But from the moment we pulled up and entered the condo, we fell in love with it! We are looking forward to coming back every chance we get!

  I love New Smyrna, and this condo has amazing views of the beach, both north and east (from the living room and large master bedroom) and south and west (from the kitchen window and sunset deck). The two-bedroom, two-bath space is beautifully decorated in a tasteful beach theme. Virtually everything was new when I was stayed there earlier this fall. The kitchen has all the tools you need if you want to cook in (and the views are fantastic from the kitchen because of the open-plan kitchen/dining room/living room). If you feel like going out for dinner, it's a short walk to Flagler ave. and lots of dining choices. The large balcony is my favorite spot of all, and I love the raised table and bar chairs that allow for dining outdoors while still being able to watch kite surfers, paddle boarders, and beach walkers. New Smyrna's beach is flat and expansive, one of the best beaches I know of for walking and running. Or you can just stay in this luxury condo and watch everyone else exercise. There's also a super-big-screen TV for anyone who manages to get tired of the beach scene. This condo is a great find, and I look forward to staying there again.
