This beautiful house is located in Upper west side, in a quiet street, close to the stop of the main lines of the subway (lines 1,2,3). The apartment is very comfortable, furnished with taste and wide, with 8 beds for the 8 people of my family and, very important, 3 bathrooms. The owner is a young lady who was very kind and caring, always there for any need. We visited all Manhattan from there with the subway without any problem and very relaxed.

These were wonderful guests. Just to clarify: there is sleeping space for 8 guests in 5 beds, 2 Queens, a Queen sofa bed and two twins.
As to the "young lady" that's me and I'm turning 60 this summer so thanks, Barbara! LOL. -

We went to NY for our vacation with our teenagers and younger children along with my mother. This place couldn't have been any more perfect. Since there's a kitchen, you're able to cook your meals which saves on eating out and plenty of space so you aren't crowding other people. We rented all three levels and everyone was happy, including my son who wanted his privacy! It's located right around the corner from the subway, restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, anything you need. Times Square is only 10 minutes on the subway! Susan was there to greet us and just a phone call away if we needed her. I'd never rented an apartment before and I don't think I will ever get another hotel again if I can help it! This was a bonus to the great time we had in New York and when we go back, I will be contacting Susan again!!

The location couldn't have been better--safe, on Ny's upper west side, close to the subway buses, and restaurants. We stayed in the self-contained basement apartment (warning--no windows, so if you're claustrophobic, it might be a problem); however, the quiet makes for the best night's sleep you've gotten in a long time. Susan is the perfect host--always handy, never intrusive. I'll definitely stay with her again.

Susan's home was comfortable and quiet with the added feature of a really cool hostess. Best tip I can give someone planning to stay here? Research your New York interests ahead of time: shows, musuems, sites then get to know the Subway system - it'll get you everywhere and let you see everything easily. With that in mind, catching the train from this location to anywhere was a breeze! Susan was a knowledgeable and helpful hostess yet, she knew when your time was your time. I will recommend and return!

We were so pleased with these accommodations, and the host could not have been more friendly and helpful to us as first time NYC visitors. You literally step out the front door and catch the subway at the corner, which takes you anywhere you want to go. The location was also in a safe, friendly environment where we could walk and feel very comfortable. We were in the basement of our host's three-story apartment where she lived upstairs, and we enjoyed the privilege of being able to use the kitchen on the main floor. If we travel to NYC again, we will definitely look up our host and hope that there is a spot available.

Es una apartamento muy acogedor, muy bien decorado, te sientes como en casa, el trato de la due?a inmejorable. Est? muy bien situado, a 10 m. del metro, y en el Upper West Side, barrio muy t?pico neoyorquino, adem?s hay muchos restaurantes muy cerca. He estado en este apartamento tres veces y lo he recomendado a varios amigos y familiares.

Flat is well Equiped, location is good, shops and subways in the Neighbourhood. For us, 3 teenagers and 2 mothers it was appropriate : the Childrens had their ^kingdom^in the basement and each mother her floor !
Must be a bit dark if you stay in summer !
Part of us will probably come back in NYC end of October -

We stayed in the basement apartment over the holidays and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, easy access to the subway (1,2,3) and lots of amenities nearby. Susan is a wonderful hostess, very helpful, professional and accomodating. Thanks for making our vacation stress free and enjoyable. It was nice to have a "home" to come home to each night and not a cramped hotel room.
