From the time Marcia opens the door for you, you are in for a treat, we recently had a wonderful stay in this Upper east side apartment, feeling very much like real New Yorkers. The apartment is clean and comfortable and comes equipped with a kitchen that enables you to cook meals if you choose to or there are some nice restaurants in Lexington ave, especially Mezza Luna which came recommend by Marcia. The apartment is conveniently located near the sub way and is close to fabulous central park.
Thank you Marcia for being so generous with your time and responsive to our queries. We look forward to sharing in yours hospitality when we come to New York again.

Hi all.
I never usually write reveiws but we had such a good stay I thought I had to this time.
We stayed in apt 3B from 18 June to 3 July. it looks just like the photos (which is not always the case!).
The apt is nice in a great block (a lot of which on lower floors seem to be Doctors' rooms - so pretty quiet.
The kitchen is simple but completely serviceable.
Everything including the bathroom is clean.
The neighbourhood is really nice (very genteel) with great architecture and shops. There is a funky italian cafe on E73rd one block over towards the Park and plenty of good restaurants over on Lexington.
If you want more culture the Frick is only about 2 blocks away and you are also right next to the Park.
But one of the biggest assets the place has is Marcia.
Whilst NYC was hellishly hot in this time, Marcia did everything to make our stay as 'cool' as possible. Which was not easy with 2 adults and 2 small children.
She answered all of my many! emails with a smile. No detail was too small and everything she said she would do she did.
The combination of this apt and Marcia are a real winner if you want a relaxed stay on the East Side.

Stayed in this great apartment a few months ago. I am so bad that I did not review it earlier! A lot of things happened after my fab trip to NY. An amazing apartment and Marcia and her associates are so hospitable, honest and reliable that I can not begin to describe our stay near Central Park.. I shall try, very briefly.Great location for 3 people. Moi, my adult daugher, and 20 month granddaughter. A girls holiday from australia. Aparment for 2 groups who may need a bit of time apart worked really well. I loved the master bedroom, bed so comfortable. Studio bed was fine for daughter and baby. Kitchen a blessing. for a young family. Location,location,location. 5 minutes from Central Park. My granddaughter and I could not stay away from it and our visits early in the morning I will never forget . Closeby treasures abounding to stroll by and breath it all in. subway about 8 minutes away, a brisk flat walk. Taxis were very cheap compared to aus and we often used due to convince and price. We walked and walked a lot and shopped until we dropped. As mentioned before Marcia is an outstanding host and special person who has a wealth of local info and genuine kindness and friendship that neither of the 3 girls from downunder will never forget.

My husband and I were very happy with this apt, it was in a super location, we loved the neighborhood right by Central Park, It was very comfortable and we will definitely stay again if in New York! Marcia was fantastic and gave us lots of info about places to go that were close that was very helpful, Had a great week!

My friend and I traveled from Melbourne, Australia to New York for Christmas 2011 and New Years. Having been to New York before, I knew how difficult it would be to find decent accommodation during this period, so was very pleased to find this apartment. It was in a perfect location, with the best shopping right on the doorstep, beautiful Central Park just minutes away, close to the train, and surrounded by great restaurants, cafes and grocery stores. The apartment itself was just lovely and a perfect size. It was very clean and neat and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. It really was a home-away-from-home. Marcia was incredibly helpful, providing information on the best places to go, and the personal service really added an extra element to our holiday. Thanks so much for letting us stay and if I am ever back in New York it will certainly be my first preference for a place to stay!

We recently visisted NYC for a long weekend with our two children (Ages 7 & 10). Having never been before, we weren't exactly sure where to stay from both a location and accomodation perspective. I will have to say that we absolutely made the right choice as this apartment was Perfect!!! It is ideally located in a quiet high end neighborhood that is one block from Central Park and within walking distance to various museums, restaraunts and all the shopping your feet and wallet can handle. The accomodation / ammenities were exactly as advertised and was more than enough space for our family (we were so happy not to be in a typical small NYC hotel).
Lastly, I can not say enough about the hospitality and service that Marcia provided to us. Upon arrival to the apartment my wife and I were met with fresh cut flowers and a bottle of wine and she even had prepared special Halloween baskets for the kids (Nice Touch!!). In addition, she had prepared a list of family freindly activities and restaraunts that we used during the trip.
The entire apartment was very clean and the internet worked perfectly. I am usually not a big fan of pull out sofa beds, but I will have to admit this one comfortable.
When we go back to NYC, there is no doubt we will stay at this apartment again.

Location was excellent - close to central park, subway, quiet street, quiet building. Spacious. Comfortable king sized bed. Had problems with internet access when we arrived but owner went out of her way to get us wifi access. Definitely recommended. Fresh flowers was a nice touch on arrival.

I stayed here with my family and we had a wonderful experience. The decor is very plush and beautiful making you not want to get out and do anything, however you can't be lazy because there are lots of fabulous restaurants in the neighborhood to try and Central Park is 2 blocks away. I love to cook and there is a spacious kitchen and dining area which made my stay even more fantastic. When I'm in NY I will definitely be staying here again.
