    Additional Location Information

Gramercy: Located from 24th St. to Union Square, and from 5th St. to 1st Ave., this chic neighborhood was once home to Edith Wharton, Theodore Roosevelt, and Eugene O’Neill. It now houses mostly young professionals, designers, and artists. The Gramercy neighborhood is so named as it surrounds the only private park in New York, Gramercy Park, positioned between 20th and 21st streets. One look through Gramercy Parks’ high railings will reveal a spacious garden, and some beautiful statues. One such statue is of actor Edwin Booth in the role of Hamlet. In 1888, Booth founded the influential Players Club at 16 Gramercy Park. Beyond the Players Club, Gramercy is also home to many great restaurants, and shops.

Location, location, location and great property!

Left on 09/28/2012 for a stay in August 2012

Former new Yorkers took friends from Seattle to NY for their first visit. Apartment is great for 2 couples as it is a nice size and in great condition - everything you need is included. Location is fantastic in Gramercy area - 4 blocks from convenient 6 train, grocery on the corner and fresh bagels a short walk away. Hope to use this property on our next visit - without a doubt. Only negative is there is only one shower (2 bathrooms).

      Great Location in Manhattan

Left on 12/13/2011 for a stay in November 2011

The apartment is located in the Lower East side, short stroll to the underground, parks and sites. Grocery store D'Agastino on the corner, made it great for living like a local. The ability to cook for yourself is priceless and the apartment had everything you needed. Great number of restaurants around the corner, and like all great cites, a pub on the corner. Amenities were all as listed, it was really comfortable, great to be able to wash clothing however it was a little hot for our liking as the heat is controlled from the basement, we simply slept with the windows open. The noise from the street and neighbours did get to us a little, but I suppose that's Manhattan... Would I recommend this place for a light sleeper, no. If you're in town to party, go for it.

Cozy, Clean, Contemporary and Great Location

Left on 07/17/2011 for a stay in September 2010

Cleanliness is important when renting a place for vacation and the apartment was immaculate. The apartment is decorated nicely and has a warm an cozy feel to it. You certainly get the vibe of New York. It is in a nice neighborhood and accessible to shops, restaurants, etc. The price is great for what you get. would definitely stay there again and recommend it.
