The Upper East Side is the sophisticated part of NYC. Your neighbor is the NYC mayor (Gracie Mansion is nearby) and within walking distance of museum mile. There are cross town buses make it very easy to get to the tourist part of town (Times Square, Herald Square, Central Park, Empire State building, etc.).

If you are looking for a studio with a lovely garden, on the first floor (so no stairs to carry your bags up!), in a quiet neighborhood on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, then look no further!
This is a very clean studio apartment that is suitable for four people (if two of them are willing to sleep on an air mattress).
We enjoyed being able to walk to lots of fabulous restuarants, the subway station on Lexington and 77th, and all kinds of haute couture boutiques.
Gracey Mansion and the Metropolitan Museum of art are only a 15 minute walk away.
Recommended for couples or older travelers who cannot manage many stairs or need a quiet respite after all their touring around the best city in the world.
