This is one of the safest, cleanest, and most affluent neighborhoods in the city within walking distance to many museums, Central Park, Gracie Mansion, Carl Schurtz Park, and the East River Esplanade. Four star dining, shopping along Lexington Ave, Madison Ave, and the famous Park Ave. Subways: 6 & 4 train (green line) is a lovely ten minute walk. Starbucks on the corner. Neighborhood deli and grocery store on the same block.

Great location: close enough to walk to key places & attractions, but still quiet at night for a restful sleep; near to subway & buses; excellent deli/bakeries nearby, safe residential neighbourhood.
Great service: Gina is professional & welcoming; the apartment was spotless; well equipped & beautifully cared for.
General comment: You'll need to walk up 4 short flights of stairs to get to the apartment, so bear this in mind when booking. We loved this place. It was comfortable, nicely stylish & convenient for a family of 2 parents & 2 teenage kids. We like to be independent travelers, & this was perfect because Gina's advice & the safe area enabled us to have a secure, reliable base and plenty of flexibility as we explored NYC. We enjoyed the 24/7 delis & bagel bakeries nearby - always great to pick up the next morning's bagels on your way home from a late night show! We were in NYC for nearly 2 weeks & this apartment helped us to get a taste of what it's like to be one of the locals. I wish Gina every success in the future. For the perfect combination of a welcoming host and great location/facilities, this apartment is highly recommendable. I'm planning to return!
