Come stay in this carefully furnished studio/loft apartment (# 3), adapted from the former Front Parlor of a superb 1895 Brownstone, with its grand decorative fireplace and mahogany wainscoting overlooking West 81st Street.

Sleeping loft with queen size bed reached by a spiral staircase (not for the very young or old who need to stand in bed).

The living room sofa opens up to provide another queen-size bed. Dining table and 4 chairs,

Desk, CD music player, High Definition Satellite TV, and complete private bathroom. Air Conditioning in the window (seasonal).

Kitchen amenities include a dishwasher, microwav...e oven, two-burner gas stove, hot water teakettle, and coffee maker.

Serving platters; plates; flatware; cooking utensils; water, wine, and liqueur glasses; storage containers and stainless steel cooking pots and pans.

The old American Museum of Natural History, with its world-class dinosaur exhibit, and the new great Planetarium are just across Columbus Avenue.
The New York Historical Society (77th St.) and the Childrens' Museum (83d St) are only a few blocks away.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art (83d and Fifth Avenue) is a pleasant walk across Central Park, getting you to the Museum Mile on Fifth Avenue, which offers the Guggenheim, The City of New York and Carnegie Museums; while Lincoln Center (66th and Broadway) is a 17 short block walk or trip on the Broadway #104 bus or two stops away on the #1 subway.
Or, after visiting the Planetarium why not stroll through Central Park's Great Lawn or visit Strawberry Fields and the John Lennon memorial.
