The original home of the Hipster, the East Village is filled with artists and musicians, and is one of the most colorful and culturally diverse neighborhoods in the city. This spacious 2 bedroom apartment is located on a great block close to the subway and surrounded by various restaurants, outdoor cafes, coffee shops, and bars. The apartment has great finishes including: granite countertop, wood floors, stainless steel appliances, a king and queen size bed, and lots of natural light with two skylights.
Nearby:
1 block from the L Train and close to Union Square (all subway lines R/Q/N/4/5/6/L), Lower East Side, Soho, and Williamsburg Brooklyn. Two blocks from Thompkins Square Park and close to the Hudson River which is great for jogging or walking. Restaurants, bars, and coffee shops galore (Diablo Royale, Back Forty, Northern Spy Co., Ost Cafe, Ciao for Now, Kotobuki, Motorino). The East Village is one of the best neighborhoods in NYC for Ethnic Food. There is a full service laundromat in the same building.
One bedroom contains a king size bed and the other bedroom has a queen size bed. Each bed sleeps 2 ppl comfortably.
This apartment is located on the forth floor of a walk up.
This apartment previously had a cat in it; just an fyi for anyone who is very sensitive to dander.

Rental fees
- Electricity Surcharge during summer months - $50 / week - Other - During the summer months there is a substantial increase in electricity bills due to the use of air conditioners in the apartment. With modest usage and shutting units off when not in apartment we generally experience $200 in incremental expenses per month during summer.
- Damage deposit - $40 / stay - Security Deposit - This fee is actually to take out a rental policy on the apartment should anything be broken, etc you will be covered upto $3K in damages.

Evan is the best landlord i've ever seen! He is totally helpful and kind. He is taking care of his guests, even he is in abroad! And his house is just clean, fresh and very close to public transportation and city center. If you'll go to NYC, I'm totally suggest to stay in this house...

Had an amazing experience in New York and it started with Evans service who made sure he was in constant contact with us. Upon arrival we were met happily and let into the apartment where a pile of information booklets and pages had been left out for us of things to do around the area and places to eat.
The apartment was great! Spacious and clean, all set up ready for us and after a long 24+ hr transit trip over it was wonderful to come into the apartment and have it ready and waiting for us, including towels so we could freshen up and head straight out to experience New York at night.
Staying in the East Village was fantastic as it has everything you could need: Bars, clubs, cafes, restaurants and shopping. Conveniently located close to public transport we had no troubles getting around anyway.
Highly recommend staying here, thanks to Evan and his apartment we had a fantastic New York experience and i can wait to get back there! -

Es un buen apartamento, bien situado, confortable, tranquilo, luminoso, muy cuidado y con todo lo necesario para pasar unos dias de forma agradable. Es muy facil ir al centro en cogiendo el metro que esta a cinco minutos o, si te apetece, ir caminando tranquilamente (en media hora o poco mas estas en Times Square).
Lo que mas nos gusto fue el barrio. Tienes restaurantes, tiendas, bares y cualquier cosa que necesites. Es un barrio normal, con gente pero sin las aglomeraciones de turistas y trafico del centro.
Os lo recomiendo. Cuando vuelva a New York intentare volver a alquilarlo.

We were in NYC for one week and Evans place helped in making our trip one of the best we've ever done! The house was clean and close to the metro, the area was safe and full of bars and restaurants. The apartment was exactly as we expected and wanted to be!

Apartamento muy acogedor con amplio salón y dos habitaciones muy similares con camas enormes donde se duerme de maravilla. El barrio está muy bien, tiene un montón de restaurantes, bares y cafeterias, y a 15 minutos andando de la zona financiera como de times square, es decir, en el centro de Manhattan. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

I recently stayed in Evan's place for a week and absolutely loved it. The place is beautiful as well as being incredibly spacious and well laid out. The two bedrooms contain large and comfortable beds, the kitchen is well designed to ensure it is completely useable for cooking all meals and big windows and skylights make sure the whole place has plenty of light.
Evan was an incredible host. The place was extremely clean and welcoming when we arrived and a welcome pack with suggestions and recommendations was made available to us. There was also plenty of information about the apartment and Evan was on hand to assist with anything we required.
The location is absolutely perfect - a central NY location that is a 30 second walk to the supermarket, L train line and a range of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and parks. This is a perfect spot to stay in NY.
Enjoy your stay here. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to come to NY for any period of time.

I stayed here with a co-worker and it was perfect for us. It's on the top floor of a building and has beautiful skylights and is really spacious for new york. The bedrooms were roomy and the beds were comfy, the kitchen had all the essentials, the place was clean, the bathrooom was great, and during the winter it stayed nice and warm. The pictures are true to what you get. Plus you can't beat the location: the 14 crosstown bus is a block away as is the M Stop and plenty of cabs right outside your door. And the east village is such a great place to stay with lots of restaurants and your choice of night life.

Pasamos dos semanas Evan fue muy formal, estuvo pendiente que todo saliera bien.
El lugar es muy amplio, camas muy cómodas y perfectamente limpio.
Esta a tres cuadras del metro y en el área hay muchos restaurantes ricos y un buen supermercado.
La pasamos muy bien 100% recomendado !
