Toronto, CanadaWonderful
Left on 09/15/2012 for a stay in August 2012
My daughter aged 6 and I had a wonderful stay at the apartment and did not want to leave. The apartment was so comfortable, had everything you need and extra. The owners are so kind and left us treats upon arrival. This place is in an excellent location , one just has to walk out the door and you have shops, swimming pools, indoor and out fun parks , nice restaurants and not to mention the beach. It's right there. We had a marvelous time and I highly recommend this apartment...it's a home away from home.We certainly will be returning next year.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable apartment with all facilities - DVD player, video games, board games, etc. Well equipped kitchen and a welcome pack of milk, tea, etc when you arrive. Owners allowed us to check in early which was very convenient. Location is perfect for the town and beach, but quiet at night. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Aurora, Ontario CanadaThis is a great place to stay in Newcastle, Co. Down!
Left on 10/23/2011 for a stay in September 2011
Our stay at the Waterfoot apartment was very comfortable. The apartment is spacious and its location couldn't be more convenient. We also found that it was very good value for the money. The only point I would make to future guests is that there is no telephone in the apartment and we found that somewhat difficult as international guests.
But overall, I would highly recommend this apartment to prospective visitors to Newcastle. -

Excellent liason with Nora and Jon from booking to arrival and leaving.Apartment beautifully furnished TVs. plus Dvds and games in abundance.A small library was very welcome.Fridge included milk with tea and coffee for immediate use. A sandy beach adjacent to the apartment makes this an ideal location for families with children and aindeed lots of exploring to be enjoyed by all in the beautiful Mourne area.

A fantastic apartment. Spotless, very spacious and well furnished to a really high standard. Very secure and quiet location.
The owners were lovely and allowed us to check in early. There was milk, tea, coffee, orange juice and bread on arrival which was well received after a long journey.
The location is in a central location and is easy to find.

ColeraineFantastic accomodation with all the frills
Left on 05/10/2011 for a stay in April 2011
Our family (2 adults and 3 children [8, 5 and 1.5]) stayed at 7a Waterfoot during Easter 2011.
The accomodation was fantastic with secure parking which was essential on the central locaiton of the promenade in Newcastle - especially at such a busy time of the year.
The living area catered well for our family with table football, books, games, Dvds, Playstation and iPod music centre [used regularly during our stay].
The location is perfect for a walk up the prom to the many restaurants / parks / mountains / amusements. Access to the main route through Newcastle enabled our day trips to other locations in the area to be stress free and relaxed.
Excellent accomodation for familys or those looking for a luxurious getaway. Through the gates of the appartments entrance you are transported from the fun and hustle of the main thoroughfare of bars, amusements, parks etc. to the tranquility of "home from home" with all mod cons at hand.
Thoroughly recommended..."We will be back..." -

We had a really enjoyable stay in this superb apartment, the welcome pack (tea, coffee, milk etc) was appreciated. The secure car park and easy access to promenade, shops etc added to our stay, would highly recommend and in the future would book again.

LondonHome from home in the foothills of the Mournes
Left on 01/21/2011 for a stay in January 2011
The apartment is in an ideal location at the heart of Newcastle town centre and overlooking the sea. Ideal for events at the Slieve Donard hotel and also for walking in the Mourne mountains. The walking route up Slieve Donard via Glen River starts just 2 mins away from the apartment.
Inside the apartment is very well appointed and every need is catered for. It is clear that a lot of thought has gone into providing all the amenities that a group of friends or family would require - it really is a home from home and a lovely place to relax after a hard day's walking. -

A well presented high spec apartment having ample space for a family with three teenage sons, wonderfully well equipped throughout and spotlessly clean. We spent the week after Christmas at apt 7a and were welcomed by a Christmas garland on the door and a Christmas tree in the lounge and even a tin of chocs!! Just take the on-line virtual tour ...all queries answered!!

Left on 05/24/2010 for a stay in February 2010
We stayed at this apartment on Valentines weekend .It is easy to find and very central . It is near the shops, cafes ,bars and very near the promenade .Also there are lots of places nearby for take away food .
There is underground parking although we did not have a car.
The large apartment is beautifully decorated and really comfortable .We all slept like logs.
We were pleasantly surprised to find the owners Jon and Nora had left us bread, butter milk, tea, orange juice ,cereal which saved a trip to the shops and was handy with 2 hungry teenage boys . I would love to stay again in the future .
