This beautiful home has recently been converted to a vacation rental. It is the cleanest and coziest beach house you will find a few blocks from the Newport Pier. It is fully furnished with the top-of-the line furniture and amenities. The house is located a block off the sand. The downstairs patio is equipped with a bistro table/chair set to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The 1st floor has 1 bdrm, 1 bath, living room, kitchen, and dining area. We are on the Balboa Peninsula and BALBOA ISLAND and FUN ZONE are just down the boardwalk. We are in a great location: A block and a half fromthe water and great restaurants, pubs, and the grocery store are steps away. Disneyland is only 18 miles away. Knott's Berry Farm and Universal Studios are within driving distance. Island (outdoor) shopping plaza, South Coast Plaza shopping mall, Angel Stadium, Honda Center, Cinemas, Art Galleries, Museums, Aquarium of the Pacific, Sea World, Catalina Island by boat or air, and even the Zoo. You can even travel to visit the LA/Hollywood area. We are located in the center of everything in the Southern California area. You can even rent an electric boat and cruise the harbor! What more can you ask for?

Needless to say, it was a great place to stay. Beautiful, well maintained, equipped with everything we needed (and more!!). We would definitely stay there again if we happen to be in the area. Sonja was terrific and helpful in every way. I rated comfort 'very good' because it was a small challenge staying on the 2nd level (1 flight of stairs outside and another onside the unit) with my parents (72&68 yrs old) and a toddler (3.5 yrs old) with many heavy suitcases (10 checked luggages and 4 carry-ons). We packed some of the suitcases in the garage. ;)
Had we been alone on a romantic getaway, it would have been perfect (we loved staying in the top unit). Again, Sonja's place was exceptional! I won't ruin the surprise, but the welcome goodies were so thoughtful. The location was only a short walk to the beach. This was my first time renting a vacation home, and I'm already a big fan of Sonja's place!!

We enjoyed this beautiful property from the moment we entered it till the time we left. It was so convenient to the beach and the local attractions. This property was top notch in every way, clean, up to date...what more can I say, it was a pure joy staying there.

Our family was hoping to find a decent, clean place that we would be okay in for our Newport Visit. This exceeded our expectations. Clean is important to us and the updated home was a bonus. Sonja made us feel welcome and had details about where to eat around town. We don't really want to tell everyone, (as its going to be tricky to get in when we want to return) but we have to: This place is a keeper! Lucky you if you stay - close to everything on the Newport Pier and an easy drive to Disneyland.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Everything is provided for the beach and is indeed very luxurious! My wife and I had a wonderful relaxing vacation here. Thank you very much! It is one block away from the beach and one block away from a big grocery store. We will be back as often as we can!

We spent the whole December in Newport Beach at this delightful appartement. It is furnished to a very high standard. It is great for a family with small children like us. The owner have games, toys and a garage full of beach gear for the family. The owner even put up a Christmas tree and decoration for us because we spent the holidays away from home. We felt lucky to have found such a wonderful place to stay in. It is not so easy to find a home like this. It is near the beach, restaurants, supermarket, playgrounds and it is quiet. We loved the jacuzzi and one can hop in after a long day at the beach or outside. We used the beach bikes almost every day to bike along the boardwalk. The weather was always good, we couldn't ask for more.

We spent a month at this property this past September/October. A great location handy to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The amenities are all first class and more, and lacked nothing! I'D be thrilled to stay again.
