Just a 30 second walk and you are on the beach! Our cute cottage has just been completely remodeled. The spacious open floor plan is light and bright with new wood floors. There are three bedrooms in the main house with one large bath. The bathroom is entirely new with honed black granite counters, carrara marble floors and cute subway tile in the shower/tub. Everyone loves the pocket door with the chalkboard inset on the bathroom door. We provide plenty of chalk and the kids love to sit and draw. It's also quite handy for family messages! Just three houses from the beach on the first block. There are no major streets to cross although in the summer the sides streets can get busy. Our home is in a nice area of the peninsula. Close to the pier and local attractions. There is plenty of entertainment even beyond the beach!

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 year old daughter and a couple of family members. The house is so clean and beautifully presented. It has everything you could possibly need from beach chairs to tuppawear! There are also lots of games and toys for children and adults. The location is amazing, just a 30 second walk to the beach which is great when you are carrying lots to and from the beach. The BBQ is fantastic, but there are so many restaurants and food places nearby. The pier is a 15 minute walk or you can cycle on the beach cruisers which they have at the house. The stretch of beach by the house is great because is does not get too busy, the nearer you get to the pier, the busier it is because they have public parking.
Newport is an amazing place. Everyone is super friendly and the people there live a great life! People are out in the morning walking their dogs, out with kids, running on the beach!
Newport has plenty of shops - Fashion Island mall is only 5 minutes from the house. Laguna beach is a 10 minute drive and has great places to eat and to see. Disneyland is a 20 minute drive. Huntington Beach is 10 minutes north. We drove from Las Vegas and it took about 4.5 hours. Driving to lax can take an hour depending on the traffic (which is crazy the closer you get to Los angeles.
I cannot fault the house or the owners. We will be coming back for sure. -

My family and extended family all stayed together at this gorgeous Newport beach home. We had a total of 6 adults and 5 kids staying and this house couldn't have been more perfect! We all fit very comfortably. And thanks to the guest cottage in the back my Parents were able to stay there undisturbed from kids. The property has enough room for the kids to run around and play inside as well as room for outside play. There were games and toys for the kids, fluffy white towels, clean new comfortable linens, down comforters, even little clip on bedside lights in every nightstand for when you're reading. Every last detail was thought of! Amy was gracious enough to accommodate my baby's needs with a high chair and baby locks. The house is in immaculate condition- obviously well loved and taken care of. The location is fantastic! In a quiet neighborhood with 2 different parks within walking distance. Also shopping, restaurants, bars, ect. Within walking distance. We spent our days walking (very short walk) to the beach, afternoons biking (love the included beach cruisers!), and evenings on the outdoor patio bbqing. it truly was one of best beach vacations my family has had- we all left wishinf we could stay longer but full of amazing memories. thank you amy for all of your hospitality, we cannot wait to stay again!

We stayed here for 4 nights and had such a great time we didn't want to leave. The house couldn't be more perfect. Everything is new and clean. It looks like something out of a Pottery Barn catalog. The beach is steps away. The grocery store is a very short walk. The beds are really comfortable. I loved having TVs, cable and wifi throughout the house. The owners thought of everything. You really feel at home here. I highly recommend this rental. I can't wait to go back! Thanks amy :)

Just got back from staying here and it was such a great experience! The house was in a perfect location and it had everything we needed. It was so close to the beach that we could come back to the house at anytime. It was also close to the pier (about a 5 minute bike ride). The house is very modern and perfectly put together. One of our favorite parts was the chalk board door where we would leave little notes to each other. All of the beds were so comfortable and there was no need for us to bring extra blankets and towels.We got a good use out of their BBQ grills and after a long day at the beach, we loved coming home and playing board games. The owner, Amy, was great at making sure all of our needs were met. Check in and check out was the easiest process I have done. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

This house (and the owners) were everything and more than what a family could even hope for while on vacation! It was my husband and I, our two kids (ages 4 and 10 months), and my mother in-law. The house is beautifully decorated and if it hasn't been featured in a magazine, I'm sure it will be. They thought of everything - you just need to show up! The outdoor shower was a nice surprise. Standing on the front porch you can see the sand. The beds were more comfortable than a 5-star hotel (seriously!). New, high quality appliances, toys for the kids, a fully stocked game cupboard, and outstanding customer service from the Mansers make this house the ideal vacation spot. There's a Starbucks close by (within a couple miles), and Fashion Island is a short drive. There's a brand new Whole Foods at Fashion Island too. Saying that this house is a good value would be an understatement - they would be fully booked if the prices were doubled. Thank you, Amy you made our vacation perfect! We hope to be back soon!

This house is the epitome of what a beach should be. The recently renovated property offers incredible value without compromise. The property has a laid back ocean side feel to it the decorating felt like every piece was hand picked and just fit perfect. The bonus on top of what I've just mentioned is you literally just need to show up. You don't need beach towels they got them. You don't need to rent a bike at the pier for 5$ an hour they have them too. There's plenty of games if you want to spend a night in. There really is to much to list. The home owners are great people and made my first vacation rental a breeze!

Recently stayed here. Newly remodeled by the talented owner. Beach decor, all new appliances, lovely linens, Many extras you wouldn't expect. Tried to book two different weekends since. Disappointed with no availability. Will try again in the fall when hopefully the season won't be so busy. Loved this treasure by the sea!!!

My husband and I stayed here with our 10 month old daughter and had a wonderful experience. The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. The location was probably the best thing...it is a couple houses away from the beach and when you have to bring as much stuff as we do for our little one the convenience it great! We also walked to dinner almost every night and I got to take strolls on the boardwalk...luckily it was beautiful weather when we stayed there. We've already booked our next stay. Thanks again!

Brought my family (wife and 2 boys under 5) to the beach and had a great weekend. The owners were wonderful and helped us with any questions we had about the area and things to do, places to eat, etc. The kitchen is very modern and has all new appliances. It even has a dishwasher, which most of the rentals in the area don't have. Comfortable beds and enough room for 10-12 people. It looks exactly like the pictures. 2 Showers, a bath tub and a washer dryer as well. There is even parking for 2 cars if you need it. The location was ideal. We were able to see the beach from the front porch and walked down the street to the beautiful sandy beach in about 30 seconds. We also walked a short distance to the pier, restaurants, and nightlife. I would definitely visit this beach house again. We had a wonderful mini-vacation. Thanks!!!
