This quaint and cosy barn conversion is an ideal retreat for a couple or small family, sleeping up to three in one bedroom. A semi detached conversion of an 18th Century barn, this cottage lies in the small hamlet of Yafford, in the south of the lovely Isle of Wight, and makes a superb romantic base. There is character throughout the cottage, with unusual exposed stone walls, wooden flooring and exposed beams, while the actual accommodation is well-equipped, comfortable and set in the grounds of the owner's farmhouse. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Living so near the olympic stadium we'd planned for months to get away from the crowds, road closures and hype. This getaway was perfect. A lovely spot, very quiet and isolated, near the sea and clifftop walks. And some very good eating places nearby. A plain but comfortable cottage, perfect for 2 people or a small family. An extra is the little sunny garden at the back. The owner, who is on site, is friendly, welcoming and helpful but also very discreet. We would definitely go there again.

A good friendly reception from owners with nothing to much trouble. A nice quit area good for walking with plenty of footpaths and very near to the sea
