Hobart House is a beautifully restored period property, rumoured to have been a sea captains house. The property retains many of its original features, with high ceilings, large bay windows and stripped floorboards. The rooms are spacious, bright and some have sea views.
Hobart House is just minutes from the beaches and is within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and bars.

Additional notes from owner
A deposit of 1/3 of the total price is required to secure a property. The balance is due six weeks before arrival. For bookings arriving within 6 weeks, payment must be made in full by debit or credit card. Credit card payments will incur a 2.95% service charge. Only Saturday to Saturday bookings (or Friday – Friday where stated) are accepted in July and August. Short breaks (min. 3 nights) are accepted at other times of the year unless otherwise stated. A non-refundable booking fee is applicable to all bookings. All our properties are non-smoking, though smoking is permitted in outside areas. Pets are accepted for a small surcharge of £23.00 each.

Left on 01/16/2011 for a stay in October 2010
We stayed over half term with our 6 kids aged 18-8 and had a great time . The beach is walking distance away in a wetsuit and there are many others just to walk to and watch the sea . The kids had freedom to wander round Newquay and we loved the freedom of not needing the car. The owners were friendly , very helpful (came and sorted the heating out immediately)and I was particularly delighted that they rang to say the house was ready a couple of hours early which is always a joy after a long drive. It was a fab comfortable house and we loved it and will try to get back soon.
