Todd Fall Farmhouse is an imposing, Grade II listed, stone built, detached farmhouse on the owner's working stud farm in the Teesdale village of Heighington in a secluded valley near to Barnard Castle in County Durham. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

What a wonderful setting ,everything is just perfect. Wonderful welcome with tea ,coffee and biscuits waiting.The house has lots of rooms ,plenty space for a large group.No fighting over rooms as they are all so good. Working farm and stables so lots of activity around and splendid views. Shops near by so no need to load up before you come. We would certainly come back

We have just returned from a weekend at Todd Fall Farmhouse. Julie was very helpful when I rang her to confirm the booking, the instructions were very clear and the added security of a couple of automatic gates was very reassuring as we were travelling with children.
The property is attached to a working stud farm which added lots of excitement for my little one for her stay.
Upon arrival, the property was immaculately clean and importantly (having experienced the downside of this previously in other properties), heating had been turned on for a warm and welcoming arrival.
The kitchen is stunning and very well equipped, with another dishwasher in the very useful and large utility room. The dining room had a lovely large table which enabled us all to sit around it for meals. The layout of the house is such that everyone had privacy in their own rooms, with 2 smaller sitting rooms allowing for some separation if required yet joined together.
We were in an upstairs bedroom - though I had read on other reviews that the water pressure wasn't strong , we then used the downstairs shower which was perfect so no issues there. There was hot water at all times.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would consider coming here again -thank you! -

A stunning, well thought out and equipped farm house. We felt at home immediately and all wished we could stay permanently! The bedrooms are all large and colour themed, have plenty of cupboard space and either have an en-suite or easy access to a large bathroom with free standing bath and shower. Everything was very clean; if I had to criticise anything it would be the low water pressure in the showers, which, after seeing how beautifully planned they were, made the expected experience rather disappointing. However, this did not spoil our holiday or the overall experience of such a stunning place to stay. A very big plus for us was that dogs are made welcome, and they too enjoyed the daily walks we took. A big thank you to Mrs Parnell, the owner for such a nice welcome and friendly atmosphere.

The cottage was lovely in a beautiful setting. We had an interesting start with a few sat nav issues in finding the cottage but it was perfect. Lovely bathrooms - masses of space.
