Here, at the Almar House B&B;, our goal is to offer our guest’s classic, comfortable accommodation at an affordable rate.
Our Georgian-style home is nestled on a 1/4 acre of land and is located right in the Old Historic District of Niagara-on-the Lake. We are only steps away from the Main St. and all attractions including the Theatres, wineries, restaurants, shops, beach, lake, jetboats, the historic fort, museums and galleries.
Our home features 2 Queen and 1 King Room each with their own private ensuite and TV/DVD. The Queen Roms are $120 and $140 per night and the King room is $150 per night. Rates inclue a full 2 course...Read more

Our room was clean and comfortable. Chris and Sarah were the most wonderful hosts, and their knowledge of the town was supreme. Their culinary skills are incomparable. When we return to Notl, Almar House is where we will stay.

My husband an I stayed at the almar house in april 2010. We had no idea what to expect because we don't usually stay at B&Bs.; But we loved it great house, close to all the action and Sarah and Chris were great hosts. They gave us good advice on the local wineries and restaurants. For a casual night out we recommend the angel Inn. Five star for the almar House! We would recommend this B&B; to anyone visiting the area.

Chris and Sarah were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was much more than I expected - 3 courses and very tasty. We stayed in the largest suite. A very large bed meant that we both slept soundly and peacefully. It is very clean and very close to the Olde Town. We toured Niagara Falls from here. My daughter loved all the original paintings on the walls and this was cause for a great many discussions (as per most 3-year-olds!).

I have been to quite a few B&B;'s and I have to say that this was the most relaxing and friendly of them all. We really enjoyed staying at almar House because of the couple that runs it; they were so genuinely nice and we really felt welcome. Be prepared to be spoiled at breakfast. We will definitely be back.

We spent two lovely nights at almar House B&B; and have nothing negative to say about it. The rooms were charming, breakfast was yummy, and Sarah and Chris were fantastic hosts. An added little treat was being able to enjoy Sarah's artwork... wonderful stuff :) We'll definitely stay there again next time we visit Notl! (If there`s room after all the great reviews I`m sure they are getting!)
