Our French Riviera holiday rental apartment in Nice France, is a perfect base for exploring Nice, Cannes, Villefranche, Monaco and Cote D'Azur, being close to all public transport, shopping, local attractions, restaurants, the beach and historic sites. Located in the Carre d'Or Nice and very quiet.

This holiday rental penthouse apartment is perfectly placed in Nice, with large terrace and is close to the beach. It is perfectly placed for shopping, sightseeing, wine-tastings, music, the Arts, gourmet food, hillwalking, skiing, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, water skiing are some of the choices available in the region.

Our holiday r...ental apartment is housed in a new building designed to blend in with local traditional architecture with its terraces and dome structures. The well designed interior space offers the epitome of modern living, comfort and style.There is air conditioning throughout our vacation apartment.

Although a holiday apartment, no thought was given to cost of the furnishings which are a blend of genuine modern antiques and minimalist style.The modern sofa is genuine leather and was purchased to match 2 genuine designer chairs from the 1950s. These chairs sit either side of a large light wood cabinet holding the TV,DVD player and clothing items. It also doubles as a work station.

The indoor dining area comprises a glass and perspex dining table and chairs to enhance the visual space in the apartment.

The hallway leads into a bright sitting room of ample dimensions and is flooded with light from the blue Mediterranean sky flowing through the large double glazed sliding doors leading to a large sun terrace.

The terrace is large and spans the sitting room and bedroom. The terrace of our rental apartment overlooks colourful and peaceful communal gardens. On the terrace is also an outside dining table and 2 chairs plus space for 2 large reclining sun chairs and large wind up parasol. Dine al fresco or breakfast in the sun.

There is a further inner hall from which leads the bedroom, shower room, separate loo and storage area. The bedroom contains a king size bed, side tables and bedside lamps which can be dimmed. There is a large built in wardrobe with sliding doors. Double glazed doors lead to the terrace area.

The shower room is large and the water powerful. There is a large vanity unit and mirror covering the wall with an electric towel rail in this fully tiled shower room. The toilet is in a separate room.

The kitchen new and is fully equipped with electric hob, oven, dish washer, washing machine. fridge freezer, coffee maker, toaster and all utensils needed to make your stay comfortable. The flooring is tiled to reduce dust collection and keep the apartment low in allergens.

Our quality luxury one bedroom self catering holiday apartment to rent sleeps 2 adults and one child or friend and comes with air conditioning, TV, and DVD player. The large double glazed glass sliding doors to the terrace overlooks the communal gardens. Thus our Nice holiday rental apartment places you centrally in Nice and it is QUIET. Just step out of your door and you are in the square of Place Massena with its ornamental fountains, which gives endless entertainment for people watching. The large terrace also gives an opportunity to dine alfresco or take breakfast and after lie in the shade from the hot Riviera Summer sun under our parasol.

Our holiday apartment for letting is located just off Place Massena. Place Massena is a pedestrian square and is the central focus for all Nice. Events like the Nice February Carnival celebrations, the Christmas Village and ice skating rink, magnificent fountains, silent tram system, Art festivals, gardens, and of course the beach just 45 yards away. This square is constructed in the Italianate style with arch-ways and shops, cafes and everything you would expect to see in Rome.

The apartment is a short walk across the square tothe sea and Vieux Nice (Old Nice), filled with the aroma and sounds of all things Nicoise.

Nice for Exploration of the Cote D'Azur.

Nice is rooted in Mediterranean history and for centuries was part of the kingdom of Savoy up to 1860 and therefore has its own Nicois dialect, cuisine and traditions. Nice is ideal for exploring the whole Cote d'Azure region of the Mediterranean including, Monaco, Italy and even Spain.

Travel by sea to Corsica, Italy or St.Tropez from Port Lympia which is minutes from our holiday apartment. Port Lympia is surrounded by splendid Italianate buildings and is a haven for cruise-ships and pleasure boats.

By train, Nice gives easy access to Monaco and all parts of the Riviera, stretching from Cannes to the Italian boarder which is considered to be the most mythologized stretch of the Mediterranean coastline, attracting plutocrats, princes and their entourages.
