This is the best of many worlds. Ideally located on the top of a hill in Nice, you can experience the unique view of the Mediterranean, day and night, and sleep in the best condition since the 2 bedrooms open on a park and on a terrace. There are so many things to do in the area not to mention Italy which is just a 45 minutes drive, Monaco 30 minutes.

The kitchen opens up onto a small balcony with a beautiful ocean view. There is sun all day since the apartment has three orientations, from east to west. You can then have your breakfast and look at the sea as the sun rises and have your dinner with the same view as the sun sets with a beautiful view of the illuminated city and it's Promenade. Because of its unique location, the apartment is very quiet. There is a private garage for one car or you may leave the car in a parking lot. There is one bathroom and a separate room for the toilet. All windows have electric shades. Beds and furniture are new, except early XIX century Provencal chairs in the living room and a Louis-Philippe cupboard in one bedroom. Spices, dry herbs, and cleaning liquids are left in the apartment for your convenience. Their replacement is expected. There is a cable LCD television and a high speed internet access.
Neighborhood and weather: Nice is the French's fifth largest city - well served by an international airport, trains, highways, and a harbor. Nice has its own opera house, many cinemas where films in English are shown. The city is at a 20-minute drive to Monte Carlo or Italy (180 kilometers from Genoa), 25 minutes to Provencal villages such as Saint-Paul de Vence and Monte-Carlo, and 80 kilometers from ski slopes (South Alpes). There is a 20-minute walk to the beaches, ten by bus, and five by car. The swimming is very pleasant since the water temperature can reach 28 degrees Celsius during the summer. Even though people swim all year round, it is comfortable till late October. Warm enough to grow grapefruit and oranges not to mention the famous small Nice olives, the area is the warmest and the sunniest of France. The dry Mediterranean climate gives a summer average between 25 and 30 degrees, 15-20 during winter (but it can be 26 on the terrace in January).
Since the apartment is located on a hill and with its three orientations, it enjoys a natural and pleasant breeze. In winter time, it is warm enough to lunch on the terraces and go skiing in the afternoon...

Our family had a wonderful stay in Nice! the apartment was a fantastic 'home-base' for excursions to the Cote d'Azur and a pleasant retreat from the bustle. on more than one evening we opted just to just stay in and watch the sunset from the terrace. convenient distance to supermarket and transport. Normand was very helpful, always making sure everything was going smoothly, and providing many excellent recommendations. additionally, my bank was difficult with the wire transfer, and Normand was very helpful and vigilant in finding resolution. Next trip to Nice, we are definitely coming back here!

I had an amazing experience staying at Normand's home. The view over Nice and French Riveria was incredible particularly at night. It was so relaxing sitting on the balcony watching the boats come into the harbour. The apartment was extremely comfortable, decorated with style and felt like home. I loved my walks - it is such a stylish, elevated area where the apartment is situated. I would highly recommend staying in Normand's apartment and experience the experience

Quel merveilleux site! Nous nous y sommes sentis chez nous presqu'en en entrant dans cet appartement. La vue y est absolument fantastique sur Nice, la baie des anges et sur le port de Nice. Tout était selon nos plus hautes exigences! Je recommande à tous de considérer ce site pour y passer des vacances reposantes et exitantes à la fois!
What a beautifull place! We felt at home as we entered this really nice appartment. The view is absolutely gorgeous on the city, the "baie des anges" and the port. Everything was according to our highest expectations. I really suggest you retain this site for your next relaxing and exiting vacations. -

We had absolutely fantastic holiday week in Nice.
First of all, it is very difficult to find similar accommodation with such beautiful view over the see and Nice. Owner of the apartment was very helpful, he sent all information about apartment, directions and what to do and keys well in advance. It really helps to have good broadband internet connection as well. But you definitely need to have a car (especially with kids) or scooter if you want to move around. It is not far from a bus stop, but it can be quite exhausting to walk up to hill when temperature is over +30C. -

Beautiful location and view. Comfortable and clean. Great kitchen with excellent grocery store nearby. Owner was very helpful with any concern. We had a rental car which was a plus, although there is a bus stop very close by. Bus service very good except they don't run very late (about 8PM). Overall, it was great and the view from the balcony was the best.

This 2 bedroom apartment on Mt Boron looking down into le Vieux Port in Nice and across la Baie des anges is one of the most spectacular places I have stayed in France. With a cook's fully equipped kitchen and modern bath and three decks - one on each side of the apartment which is an end unit and therefore very quiet, it provided a wonderful place to spend time watching the busy harbour and city. It is perfectly situated to take advantage of all that Nice has to offer and to travel along the Cote d' Azur into Italy or to Cannes - with or without a car, as public transit is easily available at the foot of the driveway. (There is a private garage.)
There are walking trails in the park directly behind the apartment that go up to the Fort overlooking Villefranche. Of course, beaches, sailing, boating, are all just a few minutes away.
On entering, be sure to go directly to the living room and open the shutters and french doors to the view - be prepared for "spectacular!" (People often say "the photos don't do justice - it's really true here.)
I can hardly wait to return.
