The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a typical old town house in on of the most beautiful areas of Nice: Vieux Nice – the old town. There is a wonderful view of the whole city. The house was built ca. 500-600 years ago and has since been renovated and extended several times. The entrance of this house is situated on the stairs going up the hill of the castle. Therefor there are no cars that could disturb your relaxed vacation. Thus we have a nice combination of calmness and very central location in one. That´s really rare in the Old town. My husband, baby and I stayed for 12 nights in Sept/ Oct. Located on the 'castle' hill this is a great location with an amazing view. Obviously to get the view there are a couple of steep roads to wander up and steps but it worth it.
The apartment is in a small block. The communal lobby leaves a bit to be desired but the apartment is lovely.
The apartment was generally clean, nice furniture and good size... small but everything you could need. We did have a leak in the ceiling when it heavily rained one night but the owner came the next day to fix it.
Restaurants (2 mins), tram stops and bus stops are very close, (5 min) perfect if youre travelling with children. It made it very easy to pop back in the afternoon etc if needed.
The owners provided a travel cot and a high chair (needed a wipe but fine). This made travelling with a baby easy. The view was fantastic and perfect as we spent evenings in with baby in bed.
Booking with the owner was simple and no hassles. Our only downside would be the shower. There seems to be an issue with pressure affecting temperature which means a shower can be a bit of a hassle. All in all, a lovely apartment. -

From the beginning of booking we´ve had a great vacation. The contact by Email was very friendly and the handling of booking quite easy. The apartment was very clean and has all cooking equipment you need. There are several restaurants and shops around - so the apartment is very central but also very quiet on the way to a hill. There are only a few meters to the beach - we enjoyed it very much.
