Description from the manager
Moulin is a cost-effective option for families and friends who want to enjoy precious Port side views and a balcony. Moulin is set back one block back from the Port side so is quieter but still has great views because of the low buildings in front. Its kitchen is well equipped and the living area is well furnished for four people. Two quiet bedrooms at the rear ensure you will have a lovely base to stay for an affordable price.
Both rooms are at the quieter rear of the apartment. There is a double and a twin room, both with wardrobes.
The bathroom has a walk in shower, vanity sink unit, toilet and radiator.

Additional Location Information
The Port is the place to go if you’re in the know. It has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, a good selection of restaurants and everyone comes here to relax over a drink at the end of the day to watch the sunset. The Old Town is very close within a 10 minute walk so you can enjoy the more tourist centre of Nice. There are lots of excellent local shops and a supermarket close-by. The main number 100 bus route goes through the Port on its way to Monaco and the border of Italy and there is a train station 15 minutes walk from here.

BonnWonderful stay in Nice
Left on 02/08/2012 for a stay in July 2011
We were surprised and delighted to find such a central and beautiful flat for our summer holiday. All was clean, the flat was comfortable and only 5 Minute to go to the bus station. We enjoyed our holiday very much and we are thinking about another stay in Nice. The view to the port was wonderful in the evening, and we enjoyed to sit on the balcony with a glas of wine watching the ships in the port. The kitchen was well equipped, dish washer, washing machine, micro wave, refrigerator. We loved it! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

AucklandGreat location and lovely property
Left on 11/10/2011 for a stay in September 2011
My friend and I stayed here for a long weekend. The location by the Port was perfect for us. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area but it is away from the busy old town. We ate in La Zucca Magica (vegetarian, set menu) one night which is right across the water - make sure you are hungry before going! We did not have a car so used the buses to explore the area; the closest bus stop is only a few hundred metres away. There is also a small beach (with pebbles) just around the corner. The accommodation was as described on the website but was even better than we expected. The rooms were very clean and all items we needed were there. The balcony has a great view of the port and was perfect for breakfast. We arrived late at night but we were met by a friendly property manager who explained how everything worked and gave us ideas of day trips. There was even a welcome pack with wine, milk biscuits, coffee etc. The apartment was very good value for money, we would definitely return

Belated Traveller.
SkewenNice apartment in the lower price range.
Left on 11/04/2011 for a stay in October 2011
We searched for a low price apartment in Nice and preferably with a balcony and or view for 1st week in October 2011 (been spoilt over the years). The Moulin apartment was situated on the port and was very conveniently situatedd for exploring Nice and the surrounding area and it had a balcony. It seemed to tick all the boxes.
However, although a nice apartment and very well presented, by midweek, I personally was missing a view with anything happening, because the apartment is set back one block back from the port and the balcony is on the side of the building, which creates a partial view only. Besides that, it opens out into the backyards of all the other buildings that are around it, so there is also views of the locals washing, hung out to dry from the numerous balconies in view.
It is very close in proximity to the backs of buildings on Boulevard Stalingrad etc and maybe my wife and I were the unlucky ones, when choosing the bedroom, but on the Saturday evening, our neighbours had a party or family 'get together' (with music)right outside our bedroom window (It's maybe worse 'in season' with the warmer evenings).
Having said all that, I would also like to mention that,it was at the lower end of the price range and it served a purpose. It was relatively spacious and ok for a family of four or two couples. It was also clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
I still enjoyed myself!!! -

64347 Griesheim (Germany)On the photos it looks better - but it's ok

We stayed in "Moulin" for one week with another couple. For four people who are not family, Moulin is very small. One of the bedrooms hasn't even a window to the fresh air! The window goes to a "shaft". There is no air-condishoning, only a ventilator. In this small bedroom without fresh air also is a too little cupboard. It is full of other things - no place for clothes. The "Masterbedroom" is little, too, but friendly. It is necessary to let the window shutters closed, because the neighbours can watch you without a problem. Their window is at the same high and ca. 3 meters away.
The beds are ok in every bedroom. The double bed in the "Masterbedroom" is very small. All the furniture is made by "Ikea", but that's not a problem. It looks ok.
The living room (+kitchen, it's one room) is nice and clean. The couch is wonderful and has enough place for four people. The kitchen is in good order and everything you need is there. Two more pots and two more pans would be nice.
The balkony is small but nice, the view on the port is wonderful.
For one week it was ok, but too expensive. 800 Euro per week for a really small appartement...little bit too much, but it's Nice and the Location is really good (20m to the port).
For one family with two kids it would be ok. Or for friends who are close.
