Rose is a cosy apartment, but also feels light and airy with large south facing French doors and east facing windows. It has a lovely balcony for 2 over looking Rue de France in cosmopolitan Carré d’Or. Enjoy the colourful boutique furnishings and modern convenience of air conditioning.
The bedroom has a double bed and air conditioning plus double glazed windows. There is a spacious wardrobe with hanging and shelf space in the hallway next to the bedroom.

Carré d'Or is a vibrant area of Nice which is in part pedestrianised. You’re one block back from the beach and the famous Negresco hotel. Walk down Rue de France and the street soon gets busier with paveside cafés and restaurants and boutique and designer shops. A 5 minute waslk and you’ll eventually arrive at Place Masséna across from which you’ll find Nices’ famous Old Town. This is a central location to enjoy this varied and lively city.

This apartment is perfect for a short break in Nice and is centrally located one block black from the famous Negresco hotel. The balcony is small but lovely and it was a real treat to sit with a nice glass of wine from the welcome pack and watch the world go by below. The facilities in the apartment are great. There is a high quality sofa bed which we used and is a good idea for friends travelling together.The washing machine came in handy too. Next door is a Cuban bar which had an amazing atmosphere, dancing and fabulous food. Rose was a perfect base from which to explore Nice and we will be returning soon for another trip as soon as we can.

The appartment was in a good location, very close to the beach with a shop across the road with fresh bread and cakes, and a supermarket close enough.It was big enough for 2 people with a little balcony as well. Only complaint was that it got pretty noisy very early with deliveries and rubbish collection but would still highly recommend it.

We loved the place. The location was great - easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and everything you need within a block. The balcony was perfect for watching people on the street and the apartment was clean, comfortable and complete. We were met at our convenience on check in and the manager gave us great information about the city and answered all our questions. We would (will) go back without hesitation.

This was our third stay in the Carre d'Or area of Nice which we love for its restaurants and proximity to the Promenade des anglais. Rose is perfectly placed on the Rue de France with a small balcony overlooking the street where we could have breakfast watching the world go by.It is plenty big enough for two people and well appointed without being over lavish.All in all a location I could thoroughly recommend.

We stayed at Rose for our summer holiday. We have already stayed in apartments in and around Nice before. Although we loved it there were a few things which were annoying and have let our experience down a little. Check in went smoothly but after a short while we noticed little things which really could have been sorted before we got there if attention had been paid. For instance, light bulbs had blown in living room, the aircon was leaking in bedroom (and there was evidence that this had happened for some time), the so called "compliamentary beach bag" had clearly been used by previous guests and was given to us by the owner as a "souvenir" dirty. The floors were not as clean as they should have been with sand/grit everywhere so we ended up hoovering on our first night but the aprtment was otherwise very clean.
Check out was meant to be at 10:30am with check-in for new arrivals in the afternoon. We asked on check in if we could leave our bags at the apartment whilst it was being cleaned and we were asked to text the night before departure to confirm. The night before we left we were then told by the owner that he had new guests arriving at 11:00am so we had to leave by the normal checkout time. We couldn't see how the apartment could be cleaned within 30 minutes so either the apartment wasn't cleaned properly before the new arrivals came or this was a lie. I am not sure which annoys me more. We ended up leaving at exactly the check out time and the cleaners were no where to be seen.
Despite this we would still use yourniceapartment.com again. The service prior to departure was great. The apartment was in a brilliant location and superbly equipped. Everything was thought of.
The apartment is not in our opinion suitable for the elderly or infirme. We got stuck in the lift on our check in and it was then out of order for our whole stay. The shower was a struggle for me to use with a bad knee so would be a nightmare for those with more severe disabilities. -

Great apartment in Nice. 98 bus from the airport 4euros brought us by the promenade 3minutes walk to the apartment. old town is 10minute walk. main train station is 10minute walk. apartment is in good location close to shops, restaurants, and ofcourse, patisserie!
the apartment is spacious and perfect for 2 people. it was clean and had all basic comforts. -

Stayed here for 5 days in May for the Monaco Grand Prix. Loved the apartment, clean and modern, great bakery across the street and loved sitting on balcony for breakfast in the sun.
Easy to get to beach and also to walk to the old town. -

Had an overall good stay. Nice bed, bathroom and terrace. Dirty sofa though, og uncomfy chairs on the balcony. Great location to watch the world go by. Near bakery, restaurants and beach. Sorry to say the service was quite bad though. We lost out key late in the evening and had to spend the night sleeping in the hallway (!!) even though my sister had diabetes and needed her insulin in the apartment. This was an emergency situation, and all we got when we called our contact person was a bad attitude...
This will not afflict my review of the apartment, because it was good. I will stay with yourniceapartment again, but I really hope we will get a different contact person...!Response from Your Nice Apartment - 11/02/2011

This apartment was spacious and neat, very convenient.
It is located walking distance for the shops, the beach and the train station.
We had the perfect holiday and the owner was extremely helpful and accomodating.
I would definitely recommend this to groups of friends and families alike, ooh and couples.
The only minor problem we had was that we expected an oven but the cooker and microwave were totally sufficient.
