Lefkada is located in the Ionian Sea and belongs to the island complex of Eptanisa. It lies between the islands of Corfu and Kephalonia and is connected to the mainland by a 50 meter floating bridge. It is a very beautiful and unique island, known for the amazing beaches and the picturesque sightseeing.
Set in a small bay on the east side of Lefkas (Lefkada) Island, Nidri is looking out over the 'princess islands' of the bay. This beautiful village of two-thousand inhabitants is the island's main tourist resort. With a big variety of tavernas, restaurants, cafes and bars can cover the needs of the visitors. Around the bay you can always see a lot of different types of boats, from small fish-boats to luxury sailing boats and yachts.
In close proximity to Nidri, climbed on a small hill is the small village of Rachi. Among olive grooves and river plane trees, it is known for the amazing natural environment, ideal for walking strolls through the small paths that leads to the waterfalls.
