The location and accommodation exceeded our expectations. The unit was exquisitely decorated. There were many interesting tourist attractions including wineries, farmlands, missions, outlet stores, sand dunes and an interesting boardwalk. Local towns, especially San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara, had great restaurants and other tourist activities. The accommodation was on the Black Lake golf course (which included discounts through the owner) and there were other good courses nearby such as Monarch Dunes and Cypress Ridge. The owner, Robin, was most attentive and helpful. She checked in regularly to see how things were going and was always available. We would definitely consider returning.

The Treehouse is everything you could want or need in a lovely place to stay. Beautiful furnishings that felt like home, immaculate, and quiet. We stayed for three nights and found it to be convenient to many places in the area. The owners were a delight to work with. If we travel to Santa Maria/Pismo Beach again, we will definite stay here.

We wanted a restful location close to Carmel, Hearst Castle, San Luis Opisbo and Santa Barbara, this fitted the bill. The recent renovation is terrific providing comfortable and spacious hotel class accommodation.The house is fitted out with everything one, two or a family would need.
Nipomo, itself isn't much to write home about but it does lie between 101 and 1 so if nothing else its convenient and not overrun by Rv's and tourists. -

My wife and I stay at the Treehouse in august 2011. It was a very wonderful place to stay. Robin does such a great job in decorating her property and making it feel like home when you stay there. The property is clean, well appointed, well "stocked", ready to "move in."
It is a great bargain. -

We have enjoyed summer rentals for many years and overall have been very satisfied. However, after staying at the "Treehouse" our expectations and standards have been greatly increased. The "Treehouse" is ready to meet your needs in a clean and well stocked environment. The furnishings are attractive & comfortable. The feeling light & airy with a great deck overlooking the oaks. Robin & Dave have thoughtfully anticipated the needs of folks away from home by providing so many of the things one might need. The location on the Blacklake Golf Course is a plus with Monarch Dunes Golf just across the road. The Pismo Dunes, Pismo Beach, shopping (local or box-like) are all within 10 to 20 minutes away. Wine country is close by too. We loved it! We will go back.

I really should have written this review a year ago but this place was taken care of so conscientiously, I'm sure it's just as good now as it was when we stayed there. Although we did have a couple of problems when we first arrived, they were resolved immediately. The condo was very comfortable, had everything we needed, and was spotlessly clean. Can't ask for more than that!

This was an excellent place to stay. In addition to it being so clean, comfortable, quiet and well equipped, Robin & Dave made our stay even nicer due to their caring and hospitality. We were welcomed on arrival in person and they even provided a bottle of wine and glasses...what a touch! We have rented many vacation homes and this one ties for first place. We would highly recommend this property and would not hesitate for a moment to rent again if we were in that area.

If you are looking for good weather, golf, and great accommodations, you will enjoy this condo. It is also a great location to tour wineries and visit the seashore. The condo is well stocked with every need you can imagine. We have rented many condos over the years, and this would be one of the best.

Everything that we were promised was delivered in a timely fashion. The owner called right after we had arrived to make sure we were in and comfortable. This home has just about anything that you would find in your own home, so the transition is seamless. The location is pretty central to golf, the ocean, and restaurants. Grocery store is on the way in and easy to get back too. Gas stations close by. We did not use the pool, but everything was available if we had wanted to. The only thing that we are not used to is the fog in the mornings, but that has to be expected at this time of the year.

Everything from Linens to kitchen items, all appliances, furniture, flooring, BBQ, Washer & Dryer,etc. were all new. Large Bathroom with Shower & Bathtub combination, 2 counters with cupboards and sinks, only 1 toilet. Cleaning supplies, vacuum, broom, sundeck in the Back with real nice outdoor table 4 chairs and BBQ, but quit shaded (nice when hot) and brick entrance with small table and 2 chairs . Not right on golf course, but only a 5 -10 min. walk to pro shop and Restaurant. Also have access to swimming pool very close to the Treehouse. Single carport with locked closet for your Golf Clubs, shoes, etc. We also enjoy the Nipoma, and Santa Maria, Calif. area.

The Treehouse is a great place to base for golfing, wine tasting, sight seeing and shopping - or just relaxing. The Treehouse was recently painted, decorated and furnished (January 2010). Everything is new and nice. Each room is very well appointed and extremely comfortable. Because the Treehouse is not on a golf fairway, it is quieter and more private than other similar rentals in the Black Lake development. The pool, hot tub and starter for Black Lake’s three 9-hole golf courses are all just a short walk (or very short drive) away from the front door of the Treehouse. The living room has a great TV (cable), DVD player and stereo, and comfortable furniture from which to enjoy it all. Both bedrooms also have a TV (cable). The kitchen has all of the gadgets and “stuff” you need to “cook in”, “eat in”, “snack in” or just have morning coffee. The bathroom is large and comfortable. There are two separate sink vanities, which make it roomy enough for two couples. The deck is large, bright and very enjoyable - peaceful and private views through the oak trees. Take the time to read about all of the details on the Treehouse listing. Very, very enjoyable.

The Treehouse at Blacklake Golf Course was spectacular! This spacious condo has all you need - completely remodeled from the paint to furniture and all the amenities! The secluded patio amidst the trees was soothing and offered great privacy as opposed to condo's actually on the course. We WIll be back!
