Asahi Lodge Niseko Japan
Niseko-cho, Hokkaido, Japan
Additional Location Information
Hokkaido is famous for powder snow skiing.... champagne powder!
Your summer can also be spent in this gorgeous area of Japan offering the great outdoors where you can go hiking, golfing(4 courses), fishing, play tennis, horseback riding, white water rafting as well as many other recreational activities.
It is also known for its most outstanding kitchen. Fresh produce easily available. All possible kitchens represented in the small charming village of Niseko.
Niseko is a small village located alongside Mount Yotei, a snow capped dormant volcano.
15 meters of snow is usually what we get in the slopes during the skiing season.
Winter in Niseko is a skiing paradise, especially if you like deep, dry powder and open tree skiing. The woodlands are silver birch, so off-piste skiing is uniquely different - light, smooth and open.
Niseko Hirafu is a cool village, with an abundance of bars and cosy restaurants hidden in the snow. Drink local beers, eat Japanese or Western food followed by sake. There are natural hot-water outdoor Onsen baths all around, where you can enjoy the outdoors and local culture.
