Thank you Lynette & John for sharing your house! You are truly awesome people. We enjoyed it completely. We are having withdrawals. Everything was what we wanted in a vacation rental. The pool was sooo inviting after 6 hours of fishing. We caught so many Groupers! Our boat fit like it was made for the place. We caught all kinds of fish off the dock, flounder, trout, redfish, jacks, catfish, snook and bait fish. "Phil the Pelican" was a nightly visitor. Just grab a book and sit by the pool or dock and watch the "carnival" of boaters go by with "Begger" the dolphin doing his tricks along with the Manatees. Our dog "Gunner" didnt want to leave the dock just watching us catch fish and seeing what was going on. We want to come back!

GeorgiaFabulous 4th of July Vacation
Left on 07/17/2012 for a stay in July 2012
This welcoming waterfront vacation home has the best of both worlds:beach and inter-coastal waterway fun! It sits on the calm inter-coastal waterway with a private dock for fishing or lounging. The home is a 8 min walk or 2 min drive to the beach. The beach has plenty of parking. It also has large clean bathrooms, picnic areas, and nice boardwalks that take you straight to the Casey Key Beach. There aren't any high rises or touristy chain shops to crowd the beaches. The North Jetty Park is one mile from the front door. The park has a bait shop, several picnic areas with grills, play grounds and clean bathrooms with showers. The vacation home has 2 bedrooms (split bedroom plan) both have large sliding glass doors facing the water with one having pool access right outside of the room. Each one of the bedrooms have very comfortable pillow top beds. The linens are nice and soft! Both have flat screen Tv's and over sized vanity mirrors; iron's and ironing board are provided as well. Each bathroom is stocked with plenty of towels and hair dryers are also provided. The home is an open floor plan with full floor to ceiling glass doors from one end of the home to the other facing the calm inter-coastal waterway and pool. The kitchen is open to the living and dining areas so you can cook and entertain at the same time. There is formal seating for 8 with additional table seating next to the pool. The living room has an awesome 55in flat screen TV and plenty of comfortable lounge seating. All rooms have access to the back screen covered lanai where the pool is along with plenty of entertainment space. The pool has underwater lighting for the nightly swims. Outside of the pool area leads to the tiered seating area with chase lounges and the private dock. We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the house and it's location. Lynette, the owner, was a joy to talk to and very helpful with any questions we had. See you next year Lynette!! Thanks for the memories!!

Dayton, OHQuaint house with excellent location to the beach
Left on 04/06/2012 for a stay in March 2012
The house was adequate for our needs as we just slept and showered there and went to the nearby public beach every day. We never got in the pool -- it seemed nice enough and clean, but we preferred the beach. The outside of the home was not updated so we never sat outside. The dryer was broken when we were there which wasn't a big deal to us since our stay was short. There were high definition flat screen Tv's in each bedroom and in the living room and those Tv's were very nice. All in all it was a great experience as the beach was very close and parking was never an issue. Great location and we had a fantastic time. Lynette was very gracious and very willing to help us find places to eat, etc. The rental price was an excellent value all in all.

Fantastic accommodation. We lived like king and queen for two weeks. Nothing was too much trouble for Lynette and John. They also provided inexpensive entertainment...a laugh a minute! The boat trips were excellent value and we managed to catch enough for supper.
We will definitely be going back again. Give them a whirl; you will not be disappointed.

As we approached the property from the front it was difficult to see just how special it is. Once inside we spent most of our stay outside relaxing by the water. My wife saw Dolphins and plenty of other fish.
We walked to a shop at the end of the road and to the beach (not that this seems to be the done thing as there was no pavement).
A great spot to relax or to use as a base to explore this part of the world. We were made to feel very much at home! -

SwanseaOur little bit of paradise
Left on 01/04/2012 for a stay in December 2010
My husband and myself have fallen in love with this area. We have stayed at this lovely Florida waterfront property 5 or 6 times.
The property is situated in what I would say to be one of the best locations in Nokomis. Where else would you sit on the jetty watching the local beggar (dolphin) entertain the passing boats and in the evening watch the fantastic sun sets. A peaceful location well away from any traffic noise.
Two good size bedrooms which have recently been tastefully refurbished. A well equipped kitchen, washing machine and tumble dryer.
A short stroll takes you past two lovely waterfront restaurants and onto a beautiful natural beach where you can hunt for shark teeth, or twice a week join the fun as the drum circle dance to the sunset.
Lynne the owner, loves a chat, she is a gem, nothing is too much trouble. You can be sure of a friendly greeting and a good laugh to start you holiday.
I am sure that visitors like us will return year after year, I am so glad that we found this little bit of paradise.
