On the lower floor are the 3 bedrooms of the house. The master bedrooms boasts a king size bed, private, and has direct deck access. The second bedroom has queen size bed, and direct deck access. The third bedroom is furnished with 2 beds.

Our family enjoyed our Christmas week on North Captiva immensely and felt that we were a part of this laid back, wonderful community. We went Christmas caroling, enjoyed the NC Island Club facilities, fished and boated.
The new owners were very helpful. They would serve their guests better by replacing two soft beds and compiling an information notebook for their visitors. The house is very functional with a fine view of the Gulf. -

I think just about any house on this Island would be fine, because the Island itself is the main part of the experience. My husband walked to the beach with his coffee every morning, we left the sliders open all night to hear the waves. The houses where well placed and we always felt like there was plenty of privacy. All 5 of my children had a great time. I would of liked the house to have some fishing gear, but we could of brought our own. We didnt buy food from the Island stores, and we didnt do any of the restaraunts, we cooked and ate all of our meals at the house which saved tons of money, and made the trip and stay real comfortable. We treated it like home and felt at ease the whole time. It was the refeshing time my family needed especially coming home to 7 inches of snow.

We had been here 2 years prior and knew the property. It was still wonderful. some problems with service from management - the shade/curtain still wasn't fixed before we left; the bathroom toilet still ran. But otherwise, it was wonderful.

First time visitors to North Captiva, but we will definitely be back! Our house, Havana Breeze, was exactly as described, the Ncic staff was very responsive to our needs, and Island Girls provides top-notch transportation! Special thanks to Josh and Sara Boinske for their attention to detail starting at our first call and throughout our entire stay.
Best advice is to plan ahead for food and supplies. Though our house was adequately stocked with utensils, etc., it would have been nice to have simple things like Saran Wrap, foil, etc.
If you are looking for man-made adventure, this is not the place for you. If you prefer quiet beauty which allows you to ignore the Blackberry, the laptop, and the hassles of "real life" for a little while, this is the place for you. Even our 18 and 13yo daughters were quick to appreciate how enjoyable it can be to disconnect.
We will be back asap!

We had a wonderful time in North Captiva. The house was great! It is a great location and the house layout is perfect for a family. We especially loved the large screened in porches.
