The ground level deck is as large as the house and provides plenty of room for electric cart (included) parking, outdoor grilling, outdoor showering, and storage for beach chairs, fishing gear, etc. The first living level contains the master bedroom suite with walk-in closet, king-sized bed and satellite TV, two other bedrooms, another full bath, and the laundry room. The second living level, with its cathedral ceiling, contains the large fully equipped kitchen, dining and family room areas. The Dolphin Den? That was probably the highlite of the trip. You are never certain what you book online, as pics can be deceiving - however - truly the website did not do it justice. It was beautifully appointed, comfortable and just wonderful to come back to hang out at after we all had too much sun and saltwater. We all loved it. Anyhow, the folks at Ncic were great as well - please let them know.

We recently spent a most memorable Thanksgiving at the Dolphin Den beach house on beautiful North Captiva Island. From the very first contact we made by phone to set up our family holiday to our final farewell and return trip on the water taxi to the mainland, our experience was so delightful and one we'll remember for a life time!
We absolutely loved the accommodations at the Dolphin Den! The inviting bedrooms made us feel right at home. The open and spacious living and dining area provided ample space for all of us (9) to gather and enjoy meals and games together. The heated private swimming pool provided a refreshing break from our beach excursions each day. The outdoor spa on the rooftop outdoor deck was the best place to view the amazing sunsets each evening or share an intimate conversation each night before retiring to bed. The views from every direction of the house were what dreams are made of! The close proximity to the clubhouse was so convenient, just a short walk to the pool, tennis courts, restaurant, island store, bike rental, and the best hamburger in southwest Florida! We couldn't have asked for more!
Thanks to the gracious staff at the North Captiva Island Club and marina for making our trip an unforgettable one! We hope to see you again very soon!

We had a great time and loved the view from the crow's nest. The view from the kitchen and living rooms was awesome, too. Blankets need to be replaced with new ones, but overall, everything was clean and ready when we arrived.
