The house was perfect for my group of friends. Great location to feel away from it all, but easy enough to get into town and into the park for some fun hiking. The house had all the amenities we needed, well stocked kitchen and linens, and it was very clean and well maintained. The owners were also very helpful throughout the rental process. Our only complaint was that The well ran out of water a couple times...next time we'll take shorter showers...) We enjoyed having a nice fireplace in a lovely living room with views of the pond. We've already decided to make this an annual trip, and hope to rent this house again in years to come.

I have been to this Chalet several times for both summer and winter excursions. It is in a small town with great proximity to the Hudson River for summer rafting and Gore Mountain for winter skiing. There is plenty of space inside for many people. The open floor plan on the main floor makes it great for entertaining larger groups.
Over the years it has received attention making it more modern and comfortable and the service to get dates and stay there is quick and easy. I will be staying there again given the opportunity.
Quick drive to a gas station/convenience store, as well as a couple restaurants and grocery store. I am particularly fond of the night view of the mountain in the Winter as you can see the lights from the groomer driving up and down.
