2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin with lovely open floor plan, overlooking babbling North Creek, and one mile from the entrance to Gore Mountain. Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances including microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. Seating for 4 at the table overlooking the creek. Gas fired stove in the living room, with high definition large screen television, DVD player and lots of movies. Land-line phone and wireless internet. Brand-new bathroom with large shower. Two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with two full beds (one is a loft), also a fold-out twin bed that can be used as well. Easy to get to, off a major road, so...Read more

The cabin is located on a way traveled road, but is set back on the property, with a babbling brook running adjacent to the back porch. The entrance to Gore Mountain is located one mile north of the cabin. Gore has a high-speed gondola, lots of ski trails at all different levels, tubing and cross country trails, rentals and lessons, and a full-service lodge. The Village of North Creek is just to the north, off of Route 28, and has several excellent restaurants, including barVino, Trappers Tavern at the Copperfield Inn, the Barking Spider, and Cafe Sarah. North Creek also has a full-service grocery store, liquor store and drug store. Nearby attractions include the Garnet Hill Lodge, with miles of cross country skiing, and Crane Mountain for back country adventure. In the Spring, there is terrific white water rafting on the Hudson River.
