Our 3BR cottage is on a quiet dirt road 1/2 mile from South Sunken Meadow Beach in North Eastham on the Outer Cape.
The property easily sleeps 6 with 1 queen bed, 1 double bed and 1 set of bunk beds. There are also two couches, one in the living room and one on the enclosed porch.
This property is great for young children. There is an adjacent wooded lot that adds to the privacy and gives the kids more places to explore. The street is safe and the only traffic will be your neighbors. Our kids ride their bikes up and down the road for hours on end.

The house is on a quiet dirt road and is a short 1/2 mile walk to South Sunken Meadow Beach in North Eastham.
The location is extremely quiet and private. The walk to the beach is lovely and you'll see some of the nicest sunsets you have ever seen at our beach.
We feel strongly that there isn't a nicer bay-side beach on the Outer Cape. If you haven't visited the area before you'll find this beach is great for young children. The water is warm and calm and at low tide you can walk out as far as a mile.
For a different beach experience you can drive 3 miles to one of National Seashore Beaches on the Atlantic side of town. Nauset Light, Coast Guard and Marconi Station beaches are all less than 5 miles from the house.
One of the great things about Eastham is the fact that it's the first town on the Outer Cape. You get the laid back feel of a beach town while maintaining reasonable proximity to places like Orleans, Brewster and Chatham and while avoiding the chaos of Hyannis, Dennis and Yarmouth. It's the best of both worlds. Everything is nearby - great beaches, boating, restaurants, nightlife, shopping, golf.

We found this listing on tripadvisor , we had a wonderful renting experience from the minute we contacted David the owner . The house is adorable, very well maintained and has a lovely outdoors shower for rinsing off after the long days at the beach. I especially enjoyed reading under the trees in the hammock.
The house is on a small road very close to sunken meadow beach where we ended up ever evening to watch the sun set.
The only thing that kept me from rating this excellent were the windows that are outdated and a little hard to maneuver and the fridge is a little small .
All in all this is a great deal for your money -

This property exceeded our expectation in a few ways:
1. Location was super close to beach (gorgeous beach) and short drive/bike ride to a bunch of fun activities. We had a rainy day and didn't mind it because we were close to so much.
2. We had enough room to host my sister's family for a night.
3. There's a yard, so the kids can play outside and you can enjoy the lovely deck while they're doing so.
4. It's quiet and private, so it really feels like you're getting away from it all
5. I celebrate the outdoor shower - it's fabulous!
