The house is located on a private sandy road with other cape cottages. The location is excellent. You can walk to Sunken Meadow Beach or take a short drive to any of the area's famous National Seashore beaches such as Coast Guard, Nauset Light and Marconi.
North Eastham is a great vacation spot. You are located in a true beach community far from the madness of Hyannis and Yarmouth but close enough to the fine shopping and dining in places like Wellfleet, Orleans, Brewster and Chatham.

Eastham is my favorite part of the Cape, and this house is great. It's clean, with a very comfortable living room, and nice deck in back. The hammock's also a pleasant way to while away an afternoon. The location is excellent. My family loves the nearby beaches, and I love the quiet. The beach down the street is perfect for smaller children, but also a cool place for adults to sneak a drink at sunset. The National Seashore beaches are close by, and offer a wider range of beach activities. They're easy to drive to, and the active among us can easily bike, blade, or run to, say, Marconi, on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Eastham's Route 6 offers typical Cape amenities, like mini-golf, and the occasional place to grab a bite or a drink, but Wellfleet & Orleans offer wider selection on either side of Eastham. Golf's never too far away, and taking in a Cape Cod Baseball league is a must. The Orleans Firebirds (nee: Cardinals) have a great park just a few miles from the house, but get there early to claim a spot on the hill. We love the house, we love the spot. Just don't take our week!
