Though the house does not sit directly on the waterfront, the property abuts the lake andt offers a very short 1 minute walk to lakefront. Set back on a wooded lot, the cottage (aka: Camp) offers privacy, seclusion, solitude. The protected cove is lined with rock ledges and beaches with lots of places to swim. Lake Champlain is world renowned for its beautiful scenery, gorgeous waters, fabulous boating, pristine shorelines, and world-class fishing. Within a few miles of the cottage are many smaller lakes, ponds, creeks, and rivers not to mention the Green Mountains or Adirondacks. Ferrisburg is located in the Champlain Valley with direct and immediate access to miles of hiking trails, biking routes, small villages, towns, and countryside. Hiker and bikers can enjoy any level of trail from beginner to advance. The Appalachian Trail and Vermont’s famous Long Trail are nearby. Burlington is situated less than 30 minutes away and provides all the creature comforts of any modern city to include music, fine restaurants, museums, parks, and quality shopping. New York is a short drive or ferry boat ride from the cottage. The quaint town of Vergennes is located 10 minutes down the road. There you will find nice restaurants, groceries, shops, and friendly people.

The cottage was perfect for our party of 6. Though not directly on the Lake, it literally is a 30 second walk to the beautiful Lake Champlain. Very quiet, nice, and private.
