PerthFantastic location and service!

Our stay with Sal and Vinnie was one of the highlights of our trip to Melbourne. We were there for almost three weeks and we felt like we were living at a home away from home. The breakfast provided was the best we have come across in our travels - fruits, toast, crossiants, cereal, omlette and best of all freshly squeezed orange juice every day. The ammenities are fantastic, with private entry and we were able to use their laundry for washing. The location is very near to two tram lines and an easy walk into the eclectic Brunswick St area. North Fitzroy village and restaurants are also in walking distance. The arranged pick up from the airport was also very handy as we found taxi drivers had trouble finding the street. Perfect place to stay for long city visits when a hotel room is just too small, or for people who want a bit more space and privacy. Other B&B;'s could learn a lot from the way this accomodation is run.

A great place to stay for a break in Melbourne. Well located for city and North Fitzroy village. Sal and Vinnie are truly excellent hosts, extremely helpful with lovely breakfasts. The unit is a generous size, well appointed and equipped. An easily recommendable stay. We will definitely stay again next time in Melbourne.

We really enjoyed our stay with Sal and Vinnie, they love what they do and it really shows. Lots of helpful information and personalised attention. Warm, friendly and very welcoming. Excellent location with easy access to public transport. Very clean and very well priced. Breakfast included and was excellent. Would definately stay again.

The service was absolutelly excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for Sal and Vinnie and the accomodation was sparklingly clean with an excellent sized bedroom and bathroom as well as a small lounge and patio. Everything is very well equipped with fridge, tea, coffee, TV, music and free internet access etc. There are parks, cafes and restaurants nearby and an easy and frequent tram ride straight into the city centre. There is a great deal of attention to detail and this is a tremendously comfortable and friendly place to stay

From the warm and friendly welcome through to the easy and comfortable departure, we found Sal and Vinnie to be the best hosts.
Their establishment is clean, comfortable and provides more than expected with a large bedroom, roomy bathroom, and personal sitting room with broadband note book included.
We are most happy to recommend them and their establishment. When they complete their private entrance, this review goes to 5/5! -

My wife and I have stayed at the North Fitzroy B&B; on several occasions and always look forward to staying there when we're in Melbourne. It has all the features of a great B&B; - wonderful hosts, excellent breakfast, good facilities and super location (just far enough out of the CBD for some peace and quiet but within walking distance of great places in Nth Fitzroy and easy access to anywhere else by tram).

We've had two stays at Fitzroy B&B; and would go again if we ever get to go back to australia. The house has a completely private section for you to enjoy and is within walking distance of a tram to Melbourne CBD, restaurants (both quiet and lively). Our hosts made us feel like we were visiting cousins (the ones we like) and made sure our visits were absolutely enjoyable.

Vinnie and Sal are very welcoming and provide attention to detail in what services are provided. The accommodation is set up very comfortably. Breakfast is a large meal which sustains one for most of the day. Really enjoy the use of the sitting room and laptop computer. North Fitzroy Bed and Breakfast is located in a very convenient location near the CBD, factory outlets and local restaurants. Really appreciated the great recommendations of the local pub restaurant and the factory outlets which Vinnie and Sal gave.

Sal and Vinnie are great hosts that really care for your well-being. The place is immaculately clean, and the private little enclosed and quiet garden which is attached to the double-room was a great place to work with your laptop and have a smoke. Wifi-signal was excellent. Breakfast is ample. I could also park my car off the road there.

We have sons in the North Fitzroy area and were tired of traveling down from the city several times a day. We had tried to find a B&B; but there seems to be only two of them nearby. We had been unable to get a booking in either of them until this May. We will now make a real effort to book well in advance so we can always stay at Fitzroy Bed and Breakfast. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. We felt so welcome and the place is so comfortable - it is just like being at home but with someone looking after you. Sal and Vinnie met both of our kids and daughter-in-law, grandson and granddog. Other family have already stayed there and we would recommend their B&B; to any of our friends and family. Trouble is, if Sal and Vinnie get so busy, we may not be able to get a booking when we want to. We have booked two more visits this year.
