Spectacular Beachfront Contemporary, wine country

This spectacular contemporary overlooks a lovely sandy beach on the Great Peconic Bay. The house is situated on three tranquil wooded acres with over 200' of beachfront. The walls facing the beach are all glass, the floor plan is open, and everywhere the views are amazing.

The house is built on five half levels, all designed to make the most of the view. At the very top is the Master Bedroom with a king bed and a private deck overlooking the bay. Down a short flight of stairs is the Master Bathroom with Jacuzzi tub/shower combination and a large dressing room. On the same level in the main space there is a TV nook with a wraparound s...ofa and flatscreen TV with cable.

Walk down some wide carpeted (suitable for sitting on) steps to the main level with an open floor plan. The spacious living room area with gas fireplace is open to the kitchen and dining area, and they all open onto a huge multi-level deck overlooking the beach. There is a sweeping view of the Great Peconic Bay, and the soft sand is just down the stairs of the deck!

One more short flight of steps down brings you to ground level where there is a guest room with a beautiful Queen sized bed and a private bath (toilet and shower/no tub), plus a full bath off the hall that is shared by the bedrooms downstairs.

A few more steps downstairs and you'll find three small bedrooms. One has a queen bed, one two twin beds, and one a full-size futon. There is also a small utility room with a washer and dryer for guests' use.

Chefs love our kitchen! Small and efficient, it contains a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a Dacor dual fuel range (gas cook top and electric oven) plus garbage disposal and dishwasher. Stand at the sink and you look across the dining room table through the sliding glass doors to the deck, the beach, and the bay.

The heat is forced hot air so becomes comfortable in minutes, and there is also central air conditioning. The cozy gas fireplace in the living room keeps the living area comfortable and is all the heat you need during the fall and spring.

It's the perfect vacation retreat. What to do when you're here? Enjoy grilling dinner on the Vermont Castings Grill on the deck, or visit one of the many excellent restaurants located within a 10 minute drive. Perhaps visit a winery or two as we are in the heart of Long Island's wing country with 40 wineries on the North Fork, several less than 10 minutes away. Have kids along? A trip to Splish Splash, Riverhead's water park, or the Aquarium are always fun outings. Greenport is an old seaport 20 minutes to the east, with antiques and art galleries and shopping and more.

There is a two-night minimum. Rentals include all linens and beds will be made up and ready for you upon your arrival. We charge an additional cleaning fee of $150 for parties of eight or more. Holidays are billed at weekend rates. *Rates are subject to change without notice.*
