Top of the line condo in a great location. The condo was clean and had everything one would need for a great vacation. This was my first time at Mar Vista and I certainly would recommend this condo for your stay. I and my friends are very satisfied with everything associated with our stay.

After a long road trip from Montreal, it was a marvelous surprise to find such a luxurious apartment. Easy and direct access from the parking, convenient location, impeccably clean, nice floor plan for a family, very quiet building. We could not expect any better, and our holiday was one of the best ever.

We very much enjoyed our stay at unit 1403 for the month of November. It was exactly as advertised. It wss clean, bright, and comfortable. This unit has everything one could need for a vacation stay, and the complex has top notch facilities. I would definitely recommend this unit and we hope to return in the future.

We had a great vacation! The condo was accurately described in the listing and photos -- very clean, bright, and everything we expected. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. The facilities -- pools, hot tub and exercise room are first rate. The location of the Mar Vista Grande is ideal - quiet during the day but close to restaurants and shopping when not enjoying the beautiful beach and views from the balcony. We definitely hope to visit again.

We try real hard to keep the condo top-notch and have many repeat guests because it is a dependable rental. In fact, we replaced the master bedroom king mattress and boxspring with a new high-end Sealy Posturepedic set in October 2012. Every year the unit is upgraded and furniture/bedding purchased as needed.

We have stayed in many rentals in North Myrtle Beach and this is by far the nicest. The first thing we noticed was the cleanliness and the beautiful decor. Our entire family said it felt like home. Our granddaughters loved the hot tub, indoor & outdoor pools. The lazy river was such a hit with our 5 yr. old granddaughter,we had a hard time getting her to the beach. Thank you Lanny for allowing us to stay at your lovely, condo.

My family came down the week of July 14-21, 2012. We wanted to be able to celebrate my daughter's 5th birthday at the beach since that is her favorite place to go. I stumbled upon The LaValley's condo by luck. We have always used rental agencies around the Myrtle Beach area. I could not have asked for a more perfect experience with the LaValley's. They are so kind and made the process very smooth. Best of all we did not have to wait in a line to get our keys. We arrived at The Ma Vvista Grande and went straight to our room. (huge plus with small children). The condo was freshly cleaned, plenty of towels in all the bathrooms. The kitchen had every possible tool you may need to cook. The ice maker in the room was a huge plus for the beach cooler. The rooms are all great sizes and the beds are super comfortable. The condo has plenty of upgrades and feels like home. The condo is considered "ocean view" but let me tell you it is missing absolutely nothing. We could see clear out to the beach a great distance and I really enjoyed being able to also see out into the Myrtle Beach area. The balcony had so much room for all 7 of us, including a large table and chairs for outside dining. We had an amazing experience and I am most likely going to book again for 2013 with The LaValley's. Big thanks to the LaValley's for making a great vacation for me and my family!

Thank you for your thoughtful review! You hit on many of the reasons we chose this condo when we purchased pre-construction. The view of the beach, ocean waves and North Myrtle on the north side is wonderful. When the ocean is dark with nothing to see, our balcony looks over the city - like a front porch both day and night! And you are right, the balcony is wider for comfortable dining and is especially desirable because it is in the shade for drinks and dinner when the direct sun makes eating outside difficult for some. Since we winter in the condo, we continually upgrade and maintain the unit so it stays in top condition! We love it too! Thank you so much!

We spent a week at 603 June 16, 2012. Going straight to the Condo was great, no check-in. It is a beautiful condo, better than the pictures, very clean. It is very well equipped, has everything you need. Very high-end. Large balcony, view is good. The building seemed very well maintained. The outside pool area was a little crowded and other guests did not adhere to not reserving pool chairs so that was difficult, but of course owner has no control over this. But the condo itself cannot be beat. Working with Lanny was a breeze he was great in responding. So easy. We loved it. Would definitely go again. Guests from Rockport, Indiana

Mar Vista Grande at 603 South Ocean Blvd. is a perfect location for a beach, golf, shopping and relaxing vacation. Everything is at your fingertips! It is convenient to be able to go directly to the condo and not wait in line on a busy Saturday to check-in and check-out on the fifth floor. And of course we have all arrived at a condo to be disappointed on it's condition - not with unit 1403 as the whole unit is maintained regularly and we employ a meticulous cleaning service, Beach Interiors Condo Services, to clean and sanitize the unit after each guest. This condo is spacious and beautifully decorated with every amenity at your fingertips. We loved the view and location. It was close enough to main street for my teenagers to walk and enjoy the arcade and shops but the area was quiet enough for us to feel like we'd escaped the crowds. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and we will definitely be back!

Since we winter there, every year the unit is updated replacing furniture, bedding, etc. so it is perfect for us and our guests.

This condo was very well equipped and beautifully decorated. The picture did not do it justice! It was spotless. The owner was a delight to work with as well. She thought of everything! And I do mean everything! I will recconmend this condo without reservation. This is definately where I will be staying on future trips to Myrtle Beach.

This condo was everything that the owner said that it would be. Wonderful location right on the beach, 2 pools, hot tubs and off the beaten path but close by to shopping, sightseeeing, and some great resturants. The condo was wonderfully decorated, clean and very spacious. My husband and I were the only guests, but there were 2 additional large bedrooms and we could see a big family staying there very comfortably. We always try to eat at least 2 of our meals in each day, and the kitchen was large and had high-end appliances. They even had a crockpot! We stayed for 2 full weeks and definately plan to go back next year. We just can't say enough great things about it.

We were thoroughly pleased with our first time at the Mar Vista Grande at Lanny's place. There were 6 adults and 4 small children in our group. We had a wonderful experience with the condo, and the entire complex. Everything we needed was there, the room to relax, the pools, the beach. Clean, tastefully decorated, all supplies available and very user friendly. Even though it was peak season, we did not feel crowded at the large pools and beach area, which was a concern of mine when I booked it. The only time there was a problem with the crowd was Saturday move in, trying to get an elevator to bring our stuff in.Other than that, we rarely had to wait for an elevator. Fortunately, Lanny has the keys at the condo, so we didn't have to wait in the long line at the condo office to check in on Saturday arrival.

Thanks for the very positive guest review! You are absolutely right about the no-line no-waiting check-in. The key is accessible at the condo and therefore you go directly from your car to your vacation accommodation. Four large high-speed elevators usually are readily available and before you know it you are on the balcony looking at the beautiful beach and ocean! "We had a wonderful stay in this unit! Lanny was a pleasure to work and so helpful from answering questions before booking right up to the check in process. Upon entering you realize how clean, beautiful and well maintained the condo really is! There is plenty of space and everything you need for a week long stay is already there. The view is fabulous! We stepped onto the balcony first thing every morning and it was the last thing we did before calling it a night. We enjoyed walking to Main Street for the restaurants and ice cream shops. The overall condo complex is just as well maintained with a very nice pool area. I highly recommend this unit. You will not be disappointed! Thanks Lanny and May for sharing it with us."

We had a fabulous vacation at your condo. Being able to go directly upstairs and avoid check-in lines saved alot of time. The condo looks just like the pictures...beautiful and tastefully decorated. There is nothing lacking in this unit...plenty of dishes, silverware, barware, and so much more. We stayed the week of the 4th of July. This condo is in a perfect location. We could see fireworks up and down the beach. We could even see the professional fireworks at Cherry Grove pier from the balcony. Speaking of the balcony...what a fantastic place to relax at the end of the day. So spacious and comfortable! The pool and the lazy river became favorite spots for the kids and the tiki bar made it an afternoon favorite of the adults. A great vacation was had by all!! We will definitely return.

We love our balcony - just the right size for a group. Perfect location with the morning sunrise and then shade at happy hour and dinner time after a hot day in the sun beaching or golfing. It makes us so pleased that our cleaning service is always top notch keeping the condo exactly like the pictures. Should a carpet need cleaning - it's done, should bedspreads/mattress pads need washing - its done - just like at home where you want everything clean and fresh! So glad you found the kitchen fully equipped - we replenish all kitchenware as needed when we winter at the condo along with painting, carpet cleaning, etc. - no absentee landlord for this unit!

"Just got back from a fantastic vacation.The condo was very clean and well maintained. Actually I thought the pictures do not do this place justice.It has everything you could possibly want. There was 6 of us (3 couples) and we were all very satisfied with our accomadations. Really enjoyed having coffee out on the balcany every morning while enjoying the view and planning our day. Then in the evening having a cocktail while we unwound and watched the moons reflection dance across the ocean. I hope to go back again and would recommend Lanny"s place to anyone going to Myrtle Beach! "

Our family spent a wonderful week at Lanny's place. It looked just like the photos and we couldn't believe how easy it was to go right up to the Unit and begin our vacation. The people were so nice and friendly and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We were close to everything we wanted to see and do which was fabulous. The condo was spacious and well-equipped for our cooking needs. We really loved the wet-bar and the ice maker and had fun storing a few bottles of wine for cocktail hour.
