This North Myrtle Beach vacation rental is a beach property that is very comfortable with its at-home feeling. You must consider many different factors when thinking about beach vacation rentals. "Location, location, location" is one of the reasons I bought Indian Summer beach cottage. It only takes you a few minutes to walk to stores or restaurants. If you want to take a run or a stroll on the beach, you have magnificent views of the ocean. You can also walk to Cherry Grove pier (known for its fishing) where you can fish for a fee or "drive" to 53rd avenue where there is free fishing on the channel. The nearby 53rd avenue area also includes... a boat ramp, small pier, & a gazebo for a picnic or just relaxing, and a place to take kayaks out. Cherry Grove is a very relaxing beach that has great sunrises if you get up early enough to see them. The beach has a great width for flying kites, playing games, or just sun bathing. With all of this nearby, how can you not have a great vacation! ADDED BONUS: EVERY WEEKLY RENTAL (rented thru the owner) IN GOOD STANDING WILL BE PLACED IN A DRAWING AT THE END OF THE YEAR FOR ONE FREE WEEKEND!!

Families, church groups, reunions, business groups, bikers, & golf groups are welcome. The beach house is fully equipped & comfortably sleeps eleven people in the 3 bedrooms.

Bedroom arrangements:

Downstairs: Bedroom One has 2 Doubles with connected bathroom,

and 1 rollaway in the walk-in closet

Upstairs: Bedroom Two - 1 Queen Bed

Upstairs: Bedroom Three - 2 Double Beds

Each bedroom comes furnished with a large dresser, night stand with reading lamp, color tv, vcr, mirror, and chair. Additionally, a new ceiling fan has been added to each bedroom for extra comfort. The living room with its cathedral ceiling has a great architectural design along with a large television, dvd, radio, and phone. Available for your entertainment are games, puzzles, and books for kids & adults. Not every place you rent includes these but we truly want you to enjoy yourselves. Besides that, our kitchen has the normal items but is fully stocked with lots of extras for a rental house. Extra dishes, pots, pans, skillets, glasses, silverware, and a cutting board have been added. Kitchen appliances include: toaster, blender, microwave, coffeemaker with filters, toaster oven, a stove, refrigerator, oven, wafflemaker and a new dishwasher. Some spices w/salt & pepper are included also. The kitchen breakfast bar seats three people along with a generous countertop. Also, the dining room is furnished with a glass covered oak table and chairs. A high chair is there for those with small children. Four smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher were added for your safety plus we have central heat and air conditioning. Extra filters for the heating/air conditioning system & extra light bulbs are in the laundry room for your use when needed. The laundry room contains a full sized washer and dryer. Likewise, an iron & ironing board with vacuum cleaner are available for your convenience on each floor. Maybe you would like to relax or get a tan on our large 26' outdoor deck which has two round tables, with a couple of end tables, a grill, and eleven chairs & cushioned metal rockers.

Accommodation rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. We also have 2-night rentals except from June to Labor Day (peak season) which are WEEKLY RENTALS ONLY, sorry no monthly rentals or renting to students. PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR RATES FOR LESS THAN A WEEK DURING PEAK SEASON. We offer both summer and winter rentals for your convenience. The beach is the typical big draw in the summer but North Myrtle Beach is also popular for beach winter getaways & renting winter homes. This is because there are so many different things to do not pertaining to the beach. Typical warm months for Cherry Grove rentals are from May thru Sept. If you investigate the weather further, you would notice that the particular months of May and Sept are truly bargain months to get really great rental rates. The weather is still warm enough to go swimming or do other outdoor activities.

Additional Location Information

There are weekly rentals only from June thru Labor Day week. Please DO NOT send requests for less than a week during this time. After prime season, you can rent for a 2-night minimum (offseason). No rentals to students and no animals allowed. In addition, we are located across the street from the beach. We are within walking distance of a large grocery store, ice cream shop, laundromat, restaurants, a bar, convenience store, putt putt golf, gift shop, and beach rental equipment businesses. The Cherry Grove Pier is .4 of a mile away where lots of people like to fish.

The vacation home can be used as a corporate retreat for executives and your staff. If you are attending conventions or trade shows, consider having more room and amenities than just staying in a hotel room. How about hanging out for class or family reunions and other family gatherings. We also know that authors sometimes need a winter retreat to work on their writing. Think out of the box and not just think of the house for taking a beach vacation when it can be used for so many other functions!
