Huron,OhioBeautiful Paradise You Will Want To Go Back!!!
Left on 03/02/2013 for a stay in January 2012
I am a little late on this review but felt it must be done. We actually rented this house my Son and Mom stayed here and my Fiance and his family stayed at the Blue Palms. (right beside aqua Vista) This little house is so comfortable and charming. The decor was beautiful, very clean well maintained. We were married on the island at (Blue Plams) Jan 14,2012 and the people of the island were so kind and helpful. I have never met such kind people in all my travels they are truly wonderful. If you are planning a wedding on the island message me I can give you names of everyone that will take good care of you. Would highly recommend aqua Vista for your next relaxing retreat.

Open the front door to a view of an amazing blue sea. Step outside to the softest sand beach that is almost always your very own. The house is very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sleeping to the sound of the surf and wind. It does get windy in February. The house is on the atlantic side so visited the calmer Caribbean beaches at those times - just several miles away. We enjoyed shopping at the 3 local stores close by. Between them you can find what you need. Not far north is Govenors Harbour with more shops and, if you are lucky, fisherman selling lobster and/or conch at the ramp. The kitchen has all you need but there are fun and tasty restaurants just up the road so lots of options. It was just the two of us but the house would be comfortable for 2 couples or a family. My husband was very happy with the internet access. I liked the option of using the dishwasher, and washer and dryer or handing laundry to dry in the warm winds. We felt very at home during our stay. I still have a few grains of sand on my feet. Just returned today from a very memorable and non-touristy visit to a friendly island.
Ps - we finally saw a wonderfuly star filled sky. Have been to many places looking. Here is a good view! -

Toronto, CanadaPerfect place for family vacation.
Left on 08/22/2011 for a stay in August 2011
If you have taste for safe adventure with family and kids - Aqua Vista is perfect place to stay. Sal and Lisa made this house warm and guest friendly. We had one of our the most remarkable vacations at this place.
Special thanks for "Eleuthera guide" - very useful guide for everything on Eleuthera, places to go, beaches, trips, restourants, grocery stores - basically everything to make you stay on the island pleasant and interesting.
The house have beach access right on the backyard, but if you willing rent a car and put some time into planning trips, it can be one of the kind expiriences.
Special thanks to Sue - local housekeeper, she helped us a lot - especially first days. -

Our week-long stay at aqua Vista could not have been better. The house is centrally located for exploring the island but off the beaten path enough to get that far-away feeling. We had two couples and the rooms provided enough privacy when we wanted it and a central living space when we didn't. The kitchen was outfitted with everything you could need. The caretaker was available but not intrusive in any way. By request, she prepared us a fantastic authentic Bahamian meal which was perfect after a long day of travel. The beach is unbelievably soft with coral heads that provided excellent snorkeling opportunities. Finally, the owners were very responsive via email to the many questions us "first-timers" had regarding the house and making the most of our time on the island. If you are looking for the perfect location, clean, comfortable accommodations, and excellent owners to deal with look no further than aqua Vista.

This is our second visit to Eleuthera. The owners of this home have thought of everything to make their guests feel comfortable. The satellite tv, land line and computer access is a very nice touch and a convenience that isn't always provided in other Vrbo's we have stayed in. The location is perfect and was very close to Island Farms where we purchased all of our produce. The people on the island are super friendly and the beaches are absolutely amazing. Will certainly return to Eleuthera and aqua Vista.

I have to say this was the best trip of my life. The property was everything that was described, beautiful beach, house was immaculate, had all the comforts of home. This property is far enough away from the town of governors harbor to make it quite serene.

Aqua Vista is Special, just as Eleuthera is special. It's a beautiful, extremely well-kept and well-laid-out 2-BR place right on its own beach. There's virtually nothing left out in this place. Everything you need or can think of in the kitchen is there, a living room with cable and dvd and internet, 2 very comfortable bedrooms with their own private bathrooms, beach chairs, deck furniture, and so on, and so on. There are ceiling fans in every room, and a deck that goes the length of the house overlooking that view! Aqua Vista is the perfect name for this place. The house is sited back from the road, and there's a nice backyard with aloe and yucca trees, and a small deck at the edge with several steps to the beach. It's a "bony" beach, with the island's beautiful pink sand interspersed with a lot of coral slabs ... this will fill back in with sand at some point, and then become bony again. It's nature's way. Aqua Vista sits on a long street on the east, or atlantic, side of the island. It's centrally located, so ranging all over the island is easy. It's not too far from Governour's Harbor, the main town, where you can get just about everything you need for your stay. The grocery stores there are pretty well-stocked, and so are the liquor stores! And Sal and Lisa are such great hosts that they leave a welcome basket for renters with milk, bread, eggs and rum! What else is needed! A book with lots of information on the island, menus, maps, etc., is there for your use. We would recommend bringing a hand-held GPS if you plan on finding some of the more remote beaches. We loved our two weeks there, and would come again in a heartbeat! Thank you, Sal and Lisa, for your thoughtfulness. Cheers! Carol and David

Williamstown, NJLove aqua vista!
Left on 08/23/2010 for a stay in August 2010
We had such an amazing time at aqua Vista. Everything was better than we expected. Sal told us to bring a cooler with frozen meat, great idea. It is truly a place that you can do nothing all day. Although august is considered part of the rainy season it did not interrupt our trip at all. We went to a new beach each morning, then came home had lunch and a nap just in time for the 1-3 pm rain and then snorkeled right in "our" backyard. The binder of information at the house was a great help finding places to see and go. We can't wait to go back again!!!

There are a lot of rentals to chose from in Eleuthera. One rental that will not disappoint is aqua Vista. We have rented several places in Central Eleuthera and this is our pick for favorite. A true beachfront villa.
The views of the atlantic Ocean from the living room, kitchen and bedrooms are fantastic. Extremely well maintained and well equipped house with a/c throughout, modern washer dryer. Nice kithchen, nice furniture.
The location in North Palmetto Point is close to everything but with plenty of privacy on the seldom traveled Banks Road.
We have rented several homes in Eleuthera. This house has it all in my opinion. On the beach, not across the street, comfortable well maintained home and priced right.
We are returning in September and even changed our original dates because the house was taken. That's how much we liked our stay.
Here 3 more rentals located nearby.
