Northern Exposure is located on the Northern coastline of Grand Cayman. A two story villa, the townhouse features two bedrooms and two and a half baths. We are in a small, privately owned, upscale complex. We are surrounded by well maintained, private homes and lush tropical landscape, not commercial buildings and accommodations. Our Cayman home is our peaceful getaway; you will find it offers privacy, plus all the amenities of a fine hotel, the comforts of home and the spectacular beauty of the Cayman coastline and it's cobalt to aqua waters.

Furnished in tropical hues and island plantation décor, all the rooms feature ceiling fa...ns for your added comfort. The seaside walls upstairs and down, are sliding glass which can be opened to allow the sea breeze in. The Master Bedroom has adjoining Bath with Jacuzzi. The Second Bedroom has two twin beds with a Full Bath off the hall. To accommodate extra guests we have a Queen Size sleeper sofa in the Living Room; there is also a full size air mattress available. Downstairs we have a FULLY equipped Kitchen, Laundry, Breakfast Bar, Dining Room, and Living Room. Just off the Living Room, one of our favorite places, the and screened lanai. Here we enjoy our morning coffee, we love waking up to the beautiful music of the little island birds and the sound of the surf. Upstairs off the Master Bedroom you will find a comfy hammock on the screened lanai, wonderful for a little afternoon reading.

Tranquility, incredible snorkeling, great restaurants and magnificent coastlines are what you will find at Northern Exposure. We like to say we are on the quiet, unspoiled side of the island. Out on the North and East end you will see some of the most beautiful coastline Cayman has to offer. We are minutes from Rum Point, a personal favorite, where you will experience the most incredible waters imaginable. Here you can book tours to the famous Stingray City to observe or swim with the rays. Minutes from Northern Exposure the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Botanic Park is a wonderful place to experience the native flora and fauna of the Caymans, including, orchids,water lilies, iguanas and the protected green parrots. Also nearby you will find some of the islands best dive charters, fishing charters, sport rentals, and restaurants. Also grocery, gift, bakery, and liquor stores for your shopping convenience.

For snorkeling, you need merely step out your back door. Our townhouse sits just 75 feet from the sandy beach. The coral reef which you can easily access from our dock is just 50 feet out. There you will see an amazing variety of fish species, coral, rays, eels, turtles, and conch. The incredible snorkeling was one of the major selling features for us when we purchased Northern Exposure. There are many great snorkeling sites on Cayman and all beaches are open to the public so check them all out, we think you’ll find Norther Exposure is one of the best.

Take a dip in the freshwater pool after a long day of sightseeing. As the day winds down, slip down to the thatched dock with your favorite beverage and experience one of our beautiful Cayman sunsets. From the dock you can enjoy an unobstructed view of over nine miles of gorgeous coastline. As dusk approaches, many evenings up near the townhouse you will see the green parrots gathering for the evening. Early evening is a great time to wet your line, there have been some huge fish caught from our dock!!

As Northern Exposure is our second home you will find it fully furnished and well equipped. We spend a good deal of time in Cayman, so you will find all the comforts of home and more. New flat screen TV’s, Wireless Internet, Play station, DVD, VCR (a library of videos) Books, Games, Pool Toys, Life Jackets, Coolers, Fishing Gear, Beach Towels, and BBQ Grill.

We understand the significance of time and money. It is very important to us that your vacation is everything you want it to be. We know how we want to be treated when we travel; we expect to receive what we have been promised. Our townhouse is inspected and licensed annually by the Cayman Islands Board of Tourism, meeting stringent standards. We have an extremely dedicated property manager on island who works with us in assuring that you our guests, have a wonderful time, and have everything you need to make your stay at Northern Exposure comfortable and carefree. We personally handle all reservations and arrangements. You will be dealing with the owner, not a third party. If you have special needs or requests please ask us, we are very happy to accommodate those needs whenever possible.

Away from the congestion and traffic of Georgetown and the Seven Mile Beach scene, life slows down out on the North side. You relax, take time and get a real feel for “island living”. These charges include a 13% Tourism Accommodation Tax charged by the Cayman Islands Government. All taxes, handling and cleaning fees are paid by the owners. There are no hidden charges, you pay only the amount shown above. Baby equipment is available for a minimal rental fee if required, please ask us at the time of booking. Also if you desire housekeeping services during your stay we will be glad to arrange this for you at a charge of $25 US/hour, again just ask at booking. We typically run a summer special in July and August, if you call during that period ask about our current Summer Special. All rates are subject to change.

  We traveled to Grand Cayman this year for my son's fall break. At 8 years old I am not sure he was too excited about snorkeling until he went under for the first time. After that there was no turning back. We all had a great time in the water snorkeling and seeing everything there was to see under water. Right off the pier in this picture is some of the best snorkeling on the island and it is really private! We had such a relaxing time, swimming and enjoying the sun. All of us ended up reading at least 2 books each!
  
  The restaurants in the immediate area are awesome and Patty had given us so much information ahead of time it was easy to plan where we wanted to go. We especially liked Tukka a short drive down the road. Fantastic food and a great atmosphere!

  What an incredible vacation, in an incredible location! This was our first visit to the Cayman Island and both the island and the Northern Exposure rental were great. The rental property was spacious, well appointed and equipped with everything you could need. The pool was effectively our own private pool and snorkeling right off the private pier was incredible. 45 minutes from Georgetown was exactly the right distance for us- a private place, but close enough to activities to keep us busy. Great, local restaurants within 10 minutes, the nature preserve within 10 minutes, etc...
  
  The place is great. The location is great. The Island is great. But best of all- the owners were incredible. Patty could not have been more helpful in answering questions, dinner recommendations and basically everything that made our trip such a treat. You _might_ be able to find other places as nice as this one, but you will not find nicer owners.

  We relly enjoyed our stay at Patti and Kurt's townhouse. We had the pool area all to ourselves most of the time as few of the other villas were occupied. Accommodation has all the amenities you could wish for. Location is great, but only 45 minutes from Georgetown (go when the cruise ships aren't in). Good local restaurants, with fresh fish dishes, especially Over the Edge. As keen snorkellers, the only disappointment was the windy conditions in January/February which made the snorkelling out front more difficult in the rougher ocean. But we took off picknicking to calmer bays some days. We will return in less windy months. Patti is very attentive to all your needs. And the lady next door runs a car rental business - very convenient. Our most relaxing vacation to date. We can't wait to return.

  Very spacious condo right on the beach. My husband and I went there on our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. Not only do you have the beach right outside your back door but there is a pool to enjoy too. The condo is right on a coral reef. Great for snorkeling! The condo has everything you need and would expect for a great right at home feel. Very comfortable and clean. The owner is very nice and helped us with the places to go and see. Location is key and this condo couldn't be better located. We had a woderful time and would love to go again.

  This Holiday Season will be our 3rd visit to your property. It is positively perfect for us. A beautifully decorated, 2 story condo with all the conveniences of home. Ample beach & bath towels... Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals & coolers to take on a pic-nic. Centrally located between (Hot Spot) Rum Point and the Morritt's & Reef for snorkeling. For divers, there a beautiful reef right at your back door. Tropical breezes in your hammock adjecent to your Master Bedroom make this our favortie ever.

  My wife and I have had the pleasure (honor) of being able to stay several times at this location. It is like coming home. The owners provide everything you would need, and follow-up to insure that your stay is perfect. The location is quiet. The views, including the sunsets are just hard to describe. It is what you would want if you were living on the island. Local restuarants are the best on the island. Its hard to imagine a better place to stay.
