Description from the manager
3BR/3BA - Mahogany Point is directly oceanfront in the district of Northside and enjoys a protective coral reef with excellent snorkeling. Living room and master bedroom sliding glass doors bring in lots of Caribbean sunshine. A charcoal BBQ, central A/C, lounge chaises, and WiFi Internet access are all included.
One of (5) adjacent oceanfront town homes in the complex, Mahogany Point #4 is the only tourist rental. The rest of the units are owned by local professionals, or snowbirds who come down in winter. Nice shared pool, gazebo and deck and a convenient northside location (within walking distance of a small grocery) make Mahogany Po...Read more

Nice house for a small family gathering. Tiny pool, but good snorkeling out the back door.

You can sit on the patio and be right on the beach. We had planned to snorkel off our beach but have had high winds. Not a normal thing. We loved being away from the business of 7 mile beach area. The Mastic trail and the botanical garden are very close. Rum Point has a some grill and dining options. We went to a Beach BBQ with music by the Boni Fide band on Tuesday night at Rum Point. It was super!! We went on a glass bottom boat excursion. We got to hold stingrays and snorkel. The house was done in the bright beach colors and we had all the basic kitchen things we needed. We did cook in about half the time so that was important. We did receive some inaccurate information as to what was available in the house. We had a baby and there is a pack n play was here. Also I had asked about hair dryers which they said no and they had one.Took up precious packing space. There was a gas grill on the patio not a charcoal. We have been here two days and I am sure we will find more fun things. One of our party is going diving soon on the east end.

RenoGreat location on Beach
Left on 03/14/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Loved the location right on the beach but the place needs some work. We opened a window in the first floor bedroom and it fell out of the frame. The dishwasher was old and noisy and barely washed the dishes. We experienced some bug issues with small bugs all over the house that we could not identify. Small issues like not having a potato peeler. We had a great property manager who replaced a non-working coffee maker the very same day and brought out a gas bar-b-que for our use. The community pool was great! We really enjoyed our daily walks on the beach with our four year old grandson. It was fairly windy for the two weeks that we rented and we were not able to snorkel out front due to the rough seas. The times that we did get out were great with nice corals and fish on the reef just in front of the property. We really liked the quiet location and the nearness to Rum Point. We went to Rum Point on several days for dinner and drinks. We have been to Cayman for several vacations and love the safety and compact nature of the island.
