The pictures of this property are deceitful. This property is totally neglected, has a serious roach and waterbut problem, has mold issues, and neither the cottage, nor the property are maintained or clean! We would not stay there again even if it was free!
Once they have your money, Treasure Realty will not refund your money. They expect, that once you get there and witness the disgusting condition of the cottage, you will spend your vacation time calling their rental office and only then they will arrange to come address the cleaning, fumigation, mold and multiple maintenance issues. -

The house is very nice but the pictures certainly represent a little better condition than the house is in. The 2 chairs in the living room are basically useless. When you sit in them you just sink. The deck furniture is a joke. When we arrived it was aboiut to fall apart so Treasure did get us new chairs but they were pretty yucky. But at least we had something to sit on. Overall it was a nice house. I would stay there again. The elevator was very nice to have.

loving the beach

From looking at the picture displayed on the website, it looks like there are steps immediately down from the middle of the first deck, without having to go on the ground level and then climb back up and then down again to the beach. It was very misleading. Also, I was very disappointed at the lack of deck furniture. just 2 rocking chairs, and 2 rusty chairs on the top deck, also 2 rusty chairs just lieing in the yard that were broken. There was no table or chairs on the main deck, which would have been very nice for morning coffee, etc. there were no outside lights outside (in the carport). The top bedroom closet is very musty smelling! Also, in the second floor k size bedroom--the bathroom shower curtain liner was disgusting with mold. I can't believe the cleaning people did not address that to the owners. I personally went out and bought a liner for that bathroom, sorry it is not white, could not find one--it is clear. Lastly, there needs to be more utensils for cooking in the kitchen, and small plates. '
This property is very nice, but I truly do not feel it is nice as it should be for the money. A little TLC would make all the difference in the world. I had read a review before we went and it did address the lack of kitchen items, but nothing was done about it.
The view was beautiful from this property.

The house was very nice. Good view of the beach. I really like the decor of the home. I would have liked to have more pots/pans/corning wear for cooking in the kitchen since we prefer to stay in and make our own meals. It was a great experience and I really love the area.

Hey hot and sticky in NC...thanks for the kind of good review of this lovely home. I guess you now have firsthand knowledge that AC units can and do fail during the summer. Sorry that you had that unfortunate experience! Fortunately, your AC was out on only one floor and for a four day period. Fortunate, too, that you were granted a nice refund discount for your inconvenience. I know we didn't refund the 100% you requested, but it is kind of hard to have the proverbial cake and eat it too (get a week's vacation and a full refund). The fans helped but I do realize it gets hot at the beach. Sorry we could not get it fixed the same day you reported the problem - that would have been awesome - but the repair companies on the island sometimes have to order parts and schedule around the many demands of summer. 1322 was a great home to stay in. We have vacationed at North Topsail for 18 years. We rent 2-3 houses each year. This was our first time in this home. It had absolutely every amenity we needed. The view is amazing. The home is beautiful. Our only complaint is that the decking didn't go straight out to the beach so this is not a home for people who have a hard time making it out to the beach. So, our father was not able to come to our home and watch the kids on the beach because he couldn't climb down the steps and then up the steps and then down. Elevator only used for luggage they said. That was our only complaint.
