Absolutely breathtaking, gorgeous, 6 bedroom oceanfront home located in Topsail Islandâ™s premiere upscale community of Ocean Ridge. Whether you choose to enjoy the panoramic views of the magnificent oceanfront location from the multi-level decks that run the full length of the house and lead directly onto the beach via your own walkway or you prefer to luxuriate in the indoor ambiance that abounds throughout the house â“ you will be sure to find a level of activity or leisure th...at suits your style and fits your mood. Splash in the surf, walk on the pristine sandy beach, immerse yourself in your own private hot tub on the first floor deck, or just curl up with a good book on one of the many tastefully decorated and comfortable chairs and sofas located throughout the house. Whatever you do, your hosts are confident that you will want to return to do it again and again! The first floor living area boasts of a state-of-the-art kitchen with raised panel cabinets, granite counter tops with a under mount sink design, an array of modern appliances, and a center island with a cook-top. The center island also serves as a gathering place with seating for casual dining and impromptu socialization. The kitchen flows directly into a gracious dining room that seats 10 and is highlighted by a custom chair rail and exquisite chandelier. After a fun-filled day on the beach, you will want to retire to the spacious sunroom overlooking the ocean for cocktails at the cozy bar with comfortable seating for four. A family room with a custom fireplace with tile and marble highlights, a tiled powder room and two bedrooms, each with a private bath, complete the elegant first floor layout. The second floor is accessed by a center staircase in the family room with entrances at each end leading to the kitchen, dining room, and bedrooms. The spindled staircase with solid maple treads and handrail continues upstairs and around to the second floor bedrooms and sitting area. A master bedroom suite consists of a large sleeping area with a king size bed, an amoire with a large flat screen TV and a sitting area with a second fireplace. A master bath with a large Jacuzzi and shower complete the grandeur of this private sanctuary. Across the hall is a second master bedroom with a king size bed and a private bath. A third bedroom on the second floor has two sets of bunk beds and a private bath of its own. Located between the two master bedrooms and set off by custom French doors is an additional bedroom area with a third fireplace overlooking the majestic Atlantic Ocean. There is direct access from all of the second floor bedrooms and the sitting area onto the second floor oceanfront deck. Other features which give this house a special feeling of comfort and luxury are: maple hardwood floors throughout, crown moldings in the family room, tray ceilings in the kitchen, dining rooms, and sunroom, columned architectural knee walls, full floor-to-ceiling fluted columns, plantation blinds, ceiling fans, recessed ceiling lighting, dimmer switches throughout, central air-conditioning, a central stereo system, a big screen TV in the family room, TVs with VCRs and DVDs in all bedrooms, a sink disposal, a wine rack and under counter wine cooler, large capacity washer and dryer, an outside enclosed hot and cold shower, two extra deep garages ,wireless high speed internet connection, cable, 9 foot first floor ceilings and vaulted ceilings on the second floor.   Great oceanfront prop for smaller groups

  This house is very well appointed and we had a great time staying there. There were 6 adults (3 couples) plus 2 kids, with another adult couple joining for one night.
  
  Pros:
  * Furnishings: Great artwork, high-quality furnishings
  * Felt like a newer home
  * Very energy efficient - never had problem with cooling
  
  Cons:
  * Though advertised as 6 bedrooms, the quarters are rather cramped for that many people. If the max were actually staying there (14 people), I can imagine tensions flaring by week's end. Bedrooms aside, the kitchen is too small for that many people, the fridge is too small, and there would not be enough space to "get away". One of the BRs that features a sleeper sofa is so small that when the bed is out, the bathroom becomes inaccessible.
  
  This is a great place for 2 couples and their kids, IMO. More than that and it becomes a bit too cramped. Our party was only slightly more than that and we could feel it by week's end.
  
  Location is good, though N. Topsail puts you a bit further away from some of the best island's areas (Surf City & Topsail). Surf was wonderful. Beach is a bit small at high tide, and there's quite a steep pitch to it which results in a slight undertow at high tide and very deep waters (careful with little kids!).

  Family Reunion

  We absolutely recommend this rental. We had a wonderful experience there. The rooms were big and there was plenty of room for all 9 of us to sleep. The beach was great and the weather was just what we had hoped for. Sunny, breezy and a bit cooler at night.
  We talked about doing it again soon.

  The home was lovely, really well decorated and clean, and very pretty. The only suggestion we have is to make the room with the queen sleeper sofa a real bedroom by putting an actual bed in there. It is a difficult space, but even a smaller bed placed in a different way would be better. The other bedrooms were great, our kids loved the bunk beds! The master suite was wonderful and we loved the upstairs deck. We had a few small things that needed repairs; the oven door didn't close, and one of the burners on the cooktop wasn't working. A repair man came to fix them at dinner one night, and then left saying he'd return the following morning but never came back. The hot tub was broken as well for 3 days, but when it was working, it was wonderful to sit outside and look at the stars listening to the ocean. We had such a great time there with family and friends. We would stay in the house again in a heartbeat, it really was pretty and there is no beach like Topsail! Its so pretty, and feels like you get your own private beach.
  Treasure Realty was great to work with. We checked in after hours, but our envelope was there and ready and not a single issue. Check out was very easy too. They were great in responding too when we called about the repairs needed to the house.
  All in all it was a perfect week, in a great house. Thank you for sharing your home!

  A Christmas to Remember

  The weather is not always sunny and seldom warm at Christmas but it was wonderful to have all the family within the same home, plenty of space, and enjoying the holidays together. We prepared the typical Christmas turkey meal and Santa found his was to the beach to leave gifts for our two young grandchildren. Everyone enjoyed the beach walks looking for shells, listening and watching the waves and sun rises and sun sets. Also, one of our favorite small book stores, about a 20 minute drive, was open for all to enjoy. We visited several small shops in the nearby cities, more like villages, and enjoyed a wonderful sea food meal at our favorite restaurant. Renting a beach house at Christmas was great. The quality of the linens from the linen service is very low quality so we have started taking our own linens after several rentals. The quality the linens is a distant step down from those typical in any Holiday Inn or equal mid priced hotel. There are several large grocery stores within a 10 minute drive and the kitchen in all the rentals we have obtained through Treasure Realty have been equipped very adequately for large groups. There are many nice homes on North Topsail Beach for rent. I highly recommend the area and the housing that is available and Treasure Realty has always been quick to respond regarding wifi or problems with TV. Few owners provide adequate instructions on operating their DVD, TV and Sound Systems but if you can not figure it out, Treasure Realty will send a person to assist in a timely manner. If you like to cook on outside grills, during most of my rentals I have found the grills to be totally unsatisfactory. Also, if you enjoy golf, there is a very nice course 5 minutes from your beach location. There are elevators in some of the homes.
