Had a great time. Beds were a little uncomfortable, and had to watch the boat ramp on the right side( chunk was broke off) but all in all was very well pleased with my over all stay...Thanks again!

Great location, house was spacious. Not enough living room furniture for all guests to enjoy. Most outdoor lighting was not working, as well as exposed (hot) electrical outlets/wires below the house, making it dangerous for guests, especially the kids. Also missing screen in the only kitchen window, which also does not function properly, which meant lots of bugs came in if we opened it... The decking on the entire house was in very poor condition and was dangerous, we were unable to relax and lean on the deck rails, one of the kids tripped and when he put his hand on the railing to catch himself the railing moved about 3 or 4 inches. The decks are not safe, not secure, and caused lots & lots of splinters in all of our hands and feet.

Hello Topsail Lover...So glad you loved this property! I just wanted to thank you for your other comments. All the outdoor outlets are being checked and repaired this week. We checked the decks and I have to beg to differ on your assessment. I don't doubt that it would be possible to get splinters. Our examination did not conclude that the decks were dangerous or insecure. We are very concerned that our properties are safe and comfortable. Actually, if there were an imminent danger presented, I desperately hope that you and any other guest would contact us immediately to be relocated and for repairs to be initiated. Of course, all stairs and decking have some inherent risk which is impossible to eliminate. As to the issue of screens, most of our owners have removed screens in order to discourage the opening of windows and doors while running the AC. Sorry for that. We have rented this home several times because of it is very close to the ICW and ocean access by boat. It has a full dock and covered slips. The interior has large rooms, and beautiful vaulted ceiling. In comparsion to other rentals in this range, this one is the best. You can also walk to the beach in about 2 minutes and stroll along the sands or relax in the sun.
