This house was a wonderful home away from home. The beach was right out the back door. The only cumbersome thing missing was a walk to the beach from the driveway. You had to go through the house to reach the beach, making it a bit difficult for beach equipment. The house itself is awesome, so many rooms. The children could play in one, while the adults were in another. It was very clean and the kitchen was adequate.

We return to Topsail often for summer vacations, and our stay at this house was another great experience. We enjoyed having four bedrooms for four adult couples, as well as extra bedrooms for the children. Our teenage boys enjoyed sleeping in the "family room" on the pull-out sofas. This house has excellent ocean views and ample seating between the two living areas. Often, we used the sound-side family room for games and tv, while the ocean-side living room was a good spot for those wanting to read or do a puzzle. The beach in front of the house was very nice and amazingly wide at low tide.
We would have liked a little more seating in the kitchen and dining room, but it worked. This house also didn't have as large of a furnished, covered deck as some we have rented. The garage under the house was not big enough for us to pull our van in all the way, but at least it provided shade.
The location near the north bridge was convenient for grocery shopping.

The home was beautiful! The location was great for us. We loved the media room seperate from the kitchen and den area. Our service was fantastic. We have used Treasure Realty at least 4 times and have be well satisfied everytime. Sneads Ferry/TopSail Island area is just great!!!

We loved this beach house and its beautiful decks. Treasure Realty has been so easy to work with over the many years we have been coming to Topsail. 2012 will be our 15th year coming to Topsail and working with Treasure Realty. They are the best people to deal with, and their hourse are absolutely first rate. We would not even consider workign with any other company.

In general, the house at 4474 Island Drive was comfortable, particularly the large family/great room. The bedrooms were also fine, but I was disappointed with the plastic shower curtains in a house renting in the $5000 per week range. The main drawback in my view was the kitchen and dining area. The home has 6 bedrooms and sleeps 16, but the kitchen is so small, there are cabinets you can't open if the refrigerator door is open. Counter space is limited to prepare food as well (we were there for Thanksgiving) and seating can only accommodate 12 (4 on stools at the counter). We had 8 adults and 3 children and the space was cramped. I guess if you never plan to eat in, you will find the house acceptable, but for the price, I think you can do better. The house is only average, not above average as I expected. Very disappointed. I vacation on Topsail Island frequently, but this was my first experience with Treasure Realty. The service provided was adequate.

4474 Island Dr. was a great rental. The home was very clean and well equiped. We have used Treasure Realty before and have always been pleased, this time was no different.
