We arrived to an all "I want" in a rental.
Everything we needed was there. The location was easy to get to everything. Very peacefull while sitting outside, almost like being at a cottage in the city.
Whats not to like, We loved it, didn't want to go home.

We thoroughly enjoyed the cleanliness and superb design of the condo. The quality of the sleeping arrangements allowed my daughter and I to both have great night sleeps while she competed at the Tennis National Competition. It was quiet and very beautiful. We loved North Vancouver's lush surroundings and enjoyed a week when the sun shone for us to enjoy the harborfront. Thank you to Joanne and Tom for their hospitality.

We stayed at a number of fine hotels during our trip to Vancouver (Pan Pacific, Pinnacle at the Pier, Sutton Place), but Tom and Joanne's place a ten minute drive up the hill from the North Shore aquabus terminal (in North Vancouver, just across from West Vancouver) was the most idyllic and one I would return to most readily if I didn't need to be downtown for business. We stayed with two young children who were made to feel welcome. The property seems newly refurbished and in immaculate condition, situated on the ground floor of a home built into the hillside and has direct access from a steep, shared driveway.
Fitted with top-notch equipment and decorated in subtle, elgant tones with a bathroom to enjoy for hours on end (huge shower, deep, deep bath, natural limestone, heated floors), what's not to like? The weekly rate seems a very fair deal for what you get and we heard little noise from upstairs and enjoyed as much privacy as we could have desired (whilst knowing that local information or help with appliances was only a phone call or a few steps away). The living area with plush seating needs to be re-arranged at night (a fold out Murphy bed for the kids drops down out of a fitted cupboard) but we didn't find this overly inconvenient. It does reduce the living space somewhat when down though which may be an issue for some.
North Shore, and West Vancouver too, is calmer and less built up than the city South of the bridges and we were minutes from Capilano suspension Bridge and the beautiful trails around Cleveland Dam. We would return in a heartbeat and wish Tom and Joanne all the best until our next visit to the North Shore! -

My wife, daughter and I stayed in Nature on Norwood for 5 days. The experience couldn't have been better. Everything was simply perfect.
The hosts, Joanne and Tom, were awesome. Helped us to get familiar with the unit and the area, and in general very very accommodating and flexible.
The unit itself is fantastic. Everything is brand new, super clean and in excellent condition.
The location is great for exploring North Vancouver. You can literally hike to Groose Mnt. Capilano Suspension bridge and other parks are just a few minutes away by car.
Getting to the downtown and Stanley part is very convenient to. -

We stayed at the Nature on Norwood for 4 nights before sailing on an alaskan Cruise in July 2011. The condo is in a perfect location for either going to and from Vancouver, or venturing out to Whistler/Grouse Mountain/Lynn Canyon Park, etc. We did the latter seeing we have been in the city a few times. The Condo is very well equipped with everything you need. My wife and I, along with our 5 year old son stayed there. The pull down Murphy bed was very comfortable. The whole stay could not have been more perfect. From the exceptional hospitality from the owners to the location to the place itself. I highly recommend it and can not wait to go back again.

Tom and I are so glad the Pruitt family had a good time. We encourage guests to come with their children. It is a suite where we hope people can relax, even when traveling with children ( been there done that ).
Great that they have taken away good memories and hope to see a return visit.
Best Regards

Left on 07/10/2011 for a stay in June 2011
The best apartment we have ever stayed at and I am so glad we didn't choose a hotel as this was a million times better. The apartment was spacious, clean, well stocked, all amenities you could need. The owners were amazing and helpful and there when needed and not crowding. I especially liked having a washing machine and dryer so i could do all our washing before we left, to save time and effort when we got home. A very enjoyable stay and where we would definitely return in the future. Thank you Tom and Joanne x

What can we say about Nature on Norwood - just a perfect place to stay. Set in a lovely peaceful area among the trees, the accommodation was modern, clean and comfortable with everything we needed and more. The location was ideal for exploring the North Vancouver area but was also only a short drive to the central city.
Joanne and Tom were warm, welcoming and friendly hosts, there if we needed them but without being intrusive.
If we ever get the chance to visit Vancouver again, we would definitely stay with Tom and Joanne and have no hesitation in recommending them. -

Left on 10/23/2010 for a stay in September 2010
We were very warmly welcomed by our hosts, given a guided tour of the accomodation and invited to 'call' if we needed anything. We were then left alone to unwind after our journey, with the complimentary bottle of wine that had been chilled in the 'fridge.
The accommodation was beautifully presented, squeaky clean and in a good, quiet location, yet handy for all things Vancouver.
Can't wait to go again. -

Left on 09/24/2010 for a stay in September 2010
The suite was incredible, not only was there a full kitchen but to have a gas fireplace in the living room was just fantastic. The bathroom was a dream and the washer & dryer was sure handy. Not only was there a TV in the living room but there was one in the bedroom as well where I could watch a different program than my husband. The owners were so kind & helpful, taking the time to map out where we wanted to go for the day and genuinely caring about us having a great time. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Left on 07/08/2010 for a stay in July 2010
Alison and I are preparing to move Vancouver. We found Joanne and Tom’s place via the internet and booked a few months in advance. It was easy and simple. When we arrived, what a godsend! Tom was there to meet us and show us the layout and how everything worked. With food in the fridge and a welcoming bottle of wine, we were quickly settled in and prepared for a week of running around like lunatics trying to get things arranged for are move over from the UK. Joanne and Tom are the perfect hosts and their accommodation is second to none. We could have booked into a local hotel for the week, but when you can get the 7 star luxuries of Norwood, why would you? Taste, quality and comfort are all outstanding, I have no hesitation to recommend Nature on Norwood to you, like us you will be touching a little bit of Paradise.

London, EnglandA Hidden Gem in North Vancouver
Left on 05/13/2010 for a stay in April 2010
To give you an idea, we spent the first 3 nights at the Shangri - La in downtown Vancouver. When we arrived at Nature on Norwood, there was absolutely no difference in the luxury, style and peaceful setting. Joanne and Tom Jurimae were the most gracious hosts throughout our stay. As one previous client said, 'They are always there when you need them, but equally they are extremely respectful of your privacy.' We found this to be absolutely true.
We came to Vancouver thinking of relocating to B.C. from London, England. Immediately when we arrived at the Suite the fireplace was roaring (as it was a bit chilly), the fridge had been thoughtfully stocked (including lovely wine). There was every imaginable household item you could ever need whilst on vacation.
My daughter and my favorite space was the gorgeous bathroom that was so luxurious and welcoming. At night, we'd go back to the bedroom which was just a haven of 'peace and tranquility'. The Cedar trees (or Redwoods)and tiny brook that grace the property gave the overall experience a sense of complete relaxation and harmony. And, there is even a very cute Chocolate Labrador on site who we adopted on our little outings to neighboring West Vancouver. The Suite is also ideally located only 5 minutes by car to West Vancouver, Lonsdale Quay and 15 minutes to Stanley Park and Downtown Vancouver. Driving up to Whistler was also very easy as we just got on the highway at the bottom of the hill and drove up the Sea to Sky highway.
Our stay with Joanne and Tom was one of our best vacations of all times. Thank you again Joanne and Tom (and of course, sweet Molly) for making everything so easy, simple going and welcoming. We'll be definitely coming back!!! -
