We spent there a week, and it was great. The kitchen cabinets need some slight adjustments, but overall experience is very positive. Warm, great view towards the lake, nice neighbors. Will come again.

We stay at Deep Park every year, I highly recommend resort. The resort and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect with lots of activities and shops right down the street.

The unit was infested with some sort of biting insect...not sure whether bed bugs, spiders, or what. My wife and I are still scratching, and hoping that whatever was in there did not travel home with us. Looks good so far. Also, all the drawers in the kitchen were broken off their tracks. A little basic maintenance would have been nice. That being said, besides the biting critters, the unit was clean and a nice spot to spend a week.

The only negative was the fact that the property was listed as having wall unit AC's in the living room as well as the master bedroom. There was no AC in the master bedroom.

The room was nice and the view was great.
I think though for the money spent for the room to ask the occupant to put trash in their car and bring it to a dumpster is out of line. I would'nt put trash in my car at home I would bring a truck. Every thing else was great. Please look at this im sure it does'nt only bother me. -

We stayed on the bottom floor right off the pond which was great, however there was a nasty scent in the hall way and in the Unit :o(

We have stayed at many Loon properties in the past. This one was smaller, and older than some others. We waited too long to make the reservation, and this was all that was left. Next time, we will book earlier. The gym at this location was terrible-old broken equipment

Deer Park is an attractive, well managed facility. unit 45 is not a semi-detached house as are the 2-3 bedroom units which were functionally and attractively laid out. #45 is an apartment in a multiple unit building. It is on the lower level and overlooks a lovely pond. The unit is below grade, in the basement level. It would help if the code to the back door of the building , the door leading to the the parking lot were given to the tenant. Without the code to the side door, a guest must walk back up to the street level from the side parking lot and around to the front door of the building -- a long, cold journey, especially at night and if you have a young child. The unit is underfurnished. Feels bleak and out of date with a mauve and dark blue color scheme and faux-country mass produced sofa and chair. A couple of random posters form tag sales are the wall decor. The bed linens and blankets are scruffy and pilled. Not attractive. The forced air heat is not kind to skin or noses or throats. Some humidification is suggested for health The bed less than comfortable with an open-work scroll of bamboo making it impossible to sit up in bed to read or watch TV. Oouch!, Maybe a foam mattress topper might help, too. The low-wattage fluorescent lighting is not color corrected enough and is very dim, prison-like. Bring your own towels, both bath and swim. The Deer Park Rec center is right next door. It is clean and well run. There's a work out center and a racquet ball court, a small arcade and an activity room great for teens and preteens. One exception, the pool needs more maintenance. It was not being treated enough to keep up with the numbers of swimmers. It was cloudy!!! Yuck. Pool water should be clear and sparkling. Its not like folks were drenched in sunblock and lotions, but even then resorts keep the pools up to public health standards. I seriously doubt the Deer Park pool meets public health code. It was disgusting, truly.
