This terraced cottage in Loftus sleeps five people in two bedrooms. Het Hemeltje is a terraced cottage in Loftus near the North Yorkshire coast. The cottage has a king-size double and a family room with one double and a one single bed. There is also a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs is a kitchen with breakfast area and a sitting room with dining area and woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking for one car and a rear garden area with patio and steps up to the lawned area. Het Hemeltje offers a convenient base for touring the coast or the moors with the village amenities on the doorstep.

Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburni...ng stove in sitting room. Gas double oven, 5 ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 3 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Fuel for woodburning stove available to purchase locally. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking to rear for one car. Rear garden with patio, furniture and BBQ, and steps up to lawned area. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub on doorstep.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The village of Loftus lies on the east coast of Yorkshire and was a mining village. It has a main street with a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. Four miles to the north is the Spa town of Saltburn with its long pier.Read more

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  We had a lovely time here in the cottage, it was like staying at a friend's home rather than a holiday let. The weather was cold so we didn't have opportunity to use the summerhouse and garden but it was so lovely. It had everything you would need and more and very comfortable.
