This detached single storey cottage sleeps five people in two bedrooms, and is close to the village of Kells in County Kilkenny. Glory Cottage is a detached single storey property by the river close to the village of Kells, eight miles from Kilkenny city in County Kilkenny. The cottage has a double room and a family room with triple bunk and mezzanine reading area. The living area is open plan, with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking for three cars, a front grassed area and a rear raised deck with furniture and views over the river. Glory Cottage makes a cosy base for enjoying the hist...ory of the area, from the 12th century priory in Kells to Jerpoint Abbey.

Amenities: Oil underfloor heating with solar panels and woodburning stove in sitting area. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and fuel for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Folding cot/bed and highchair available on request. Off road parking for 3 cars. Rear deck with river views, furniture and BBQ. Front grassed area. Fruit from orchard when in season. Daily fishing licence available to purchase in Kells village. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 12 mins walk. Note: An open canoe with equipment and a bicycle can be hired at an additional cost by arrangement with the owner. Note: The land around the river can occasionally be prone to flooding and care should be taken at those times. This does not affect the property itself or access to the property.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
