A stone's throw from the Bayside village wharf, this 3,500 square foot oceanfront cottage offers beautiful views of the Penobscot Bay on four floors of living with a gorgeous 450 square foot roof deck 50 feet above the water. Watch the yacht club races or check on your boat on our mooring out in front of the house. The house is elevated and built into the hill with stairs to the beach. There are a number of kayaks and water toys typically stored on the riprap above the high tide mark. The Beehive Cottage is in the historic district of Bayside Maine and approximately 500 feet from the village community hall and around the corner from the village wharf. The wharf comes complete with swim float with lifeguard and a dingy dock. There is a golf course within walking distance and sailing school available for the kids on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.

What a beautiful place! The pictures do not do it justice! We drove over 20 hrs and the owners were wonderful with suggestions on places to visit, restaurants, etc. The place was clean and the view was breathtaking. The use of the kayaks was a wonderful addition.
