Relax on the porch overlooking the expansive, beautiful view of the sparkling water and spend your vacation having a great time in this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage. (Main house is 2 bedrooms/1 bath downstairs and there is an additional apartment upstairs with 1 bedroom/1 bath). Pet considered. House faces East. 2 level cottage on a side street in the village. Our family has never been to Northport, MI and we were very pleased with the amenities of the rental home. Plus it was walking distance to the shops and the marina.

There aren't words to express how much we loved our stay at Barefoot Beach Retreat. The house is obviously loved by its owners. It is well maintained and included a number of little touches that made it feel like home. Northport is a cute little community, but we were also close enough to explore other areas on the Penninsula.
We were a multi-generational family, so we had small children up to older adults. There was something to do for everyone. The fact that I (the grandmother) could retreat to the second floor apartment when things got crazy downstairs was a blessing!
To emphasize how much we enjoyed ourselves, I'll add that before the week was through I was on the phone, reserving it for two weeks this summer. We're already counting the days until we can return.
If I had a cottage, it would be an exact replica of Barefoot Beach retreat.
