Windsong is a two-story ranch in a great secluded neighborhood north of Northport. It's more like a home than a cabin. It perhaps has seen better days, but the upkeep was fine and we had no inconveniences or problems at all. The kitchen was large, easy to work in and filled with all the amenities--including a washer and dryer. The sunken living room was very cosy: large fireplace and picture windows looking out over the trees and down to the Lake. The beach was small but nice and private. The photos on the website make it difficult to tell how close the beach is. It's directly behind the house, but a challenging climb down 70+ steps! There's a great deck off the dining room. The bedrooms and 2 baths are nice. The web photo of the large dining room table is one feature that drew me to Windsong--since we were bringing together my family for a reunion, and I envisioned lovely mealtimes together. However, the actual table was much smaller. Bring back a big table!
